What are people saying about Elemental Blast?
Crinaya: "A simple game with a draw one, play one rule. It's quick, easy, and fun."
Craig from The Gamers' Table: "The cards are all easy to read, with abilities clearly marked, and the artwork really helps to evoke the theme of controlling the elements." http://www.thegamerstable.info/
Sod Tiwaz: "I liked this game quite a bit and our first endeavor which typically only lasts 2-3 games ended up being 5 or 6. We really enjoyed this game and I'm pretty comfortable saying that it will actually be pulled out somewhat regularly."
John Schiavo: "A light but entertaining card game. While there is some strategy, a lot comes down to luck of the draw. Good for gamers, better for non-gamers. I plan on using it as a gateway game to bring people from games like Uno into the realm of light strategy."
Joshua Lancaster (gad): "This game is AWESOME! Played it for a couple of hours with my girlfriend, haha. So much fun to decide whether to grow my hand or screw her over. Very portable and accessible. Tell your friends! They would love this."
Mikhael Weitzel: "Just found our new favorite light weight, large group, filler/follow-up game. Elemental Blast plays fast, and fun! There is a great mix of stick-it-to-you cards and self-bolstering cards. Has a little bit of depth compared to other light card games. This is the perfect addition to our Friday night group where we start the night with a lengthy or heavy game and then move to a lighter game(s) until we are ready to call it a night."
Long Ago... Elemental Sorcerers vied for power in an ancient realm. You take on the role of one of the last of these sorcerers as you strive to be the first to master one of the 7 elements.
During the game players try to be the first to collect a set of five of any one element. Use the elements of fire, lightning, darkness, ice, and wind to disrupt your opponents plans or use water, earth, wood, and light to get you the element cards you need for victory.
Elemental Blast will include:
- 49 Base Element Cards (7 of Each Base Element)
- 14 Expansion Element Cards (7 Ice and 7 Wood Element Cards)
- 4 Wild Cards
- Full-Color Set of the Rules of Play Cards
- Set of Alternate Rules Cards
- 1 Game Box
- + Any and All Unlocked Stretch Goals
Expansion/Unlocked element cards are interchangeable (similar to Dominion) where elements can be swapped out for new ones for different kinds of games. Suggested styles/modes will be given in the final rules but players are welcome to mix and match elements for many fun combinations. However for classic play, only 7 elements should be used in any given game to keep game play balanced.
Get the PDF version of the game for only $3. Become an Elemental Blaster and get the Game + Stretch Goals at the $22 pledge level. If you are a returning backer and want the new version please pledge at the Elemental Veteran Level for only $19.

A gameplay review of Elemental Blast:
Thank you Game Crafter, BGG, All Us Geeks, Kickstarter, and all of our Elemental Blast Reviewers and Supporters!
We have some exciting stretch goals planned if we can get a bit past our initial funding goal. Each time one is unlocked we will add it to the game for everyone!
Unlocked! Use the element of Metal and chain cards around the table to disrupt the set collection of your opponents.
Unlocked! Use the element of Surprise and add some amazingly random things to your strategy.
Unlocked! A set of Reference Cards! (+1 set for those with the Add On for a total of 2 sets).
7k- Elemental Affinity Cards! Unlock a set of elemental affinity cards for a fun alternate game mode where players start in control of a single element.
By popular demand we have created a $5 add on for backers who would like to have the elements of Aether and Chaos as well as 1 full set of element reference cards to help beginners to learn the game faster. Please add +$5 to your pledge level (not required for PDF backers.) +$4 for each additional set of add on cards if you ordered more than 1 copy of the game.
Add the element of Aether and transfer cards as you please, giving you tons of card control.
Add the element of Chaos and wreck your opponent's plans as you maniacally laugh.

Risks and challenges
Elemental Blast: Second Edition is finished and has undergone tons of play-testing. Critics agree that Elemental Blast is a huge hit and will do well on your game table. We have continually balanced the gameplay to make it the best game possible, and we think you will love it.
*Note* All artwork and formats have been upgraded and Elemental Blast: Second Edition cards will unfourtunately NOT be compatible with the original game. In order to revamp the game properly we needed to make these changes. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you.
We want to share this game with the world, but we need your help! The money you pledge will go towards production costs so that we can make more copies than we would be able to afford alone. Also, when you get your copy tell your friends how much you enjoy it.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
