SftP documentary and reward update
A quick update on the documentary and what Science for the People has been up to in the past few weeks:
The convention in Ann Arbor in February was a great success, with about 90 people participating in voting, presentations, chapter reports, and organizing. Yaniv was there for the whole weekend with us, filming some panels and getting interviews with a number of SftP members, new and from the original group. We're excited to share the documentary with you this summer.
If you're interested in getting involved with an SftP working group, focused on (for instance) direct action, climate change, sociobiology, militarism, and other issues that Science for the People has been involved in today and historically, please check out this page with the list of working groups and contact information on this page.
And for those of you who donated enough for a t-shirt reward, those are coming soon! Watch for an email from us soon to get your size and delivery address.
Stay tuned for more updates this spring as we move closer to the web relaunch of the Science for the People magazine and releasing the documentary. Thanks for your support--we'll see you on the streets at the March for Science April 14th!
