Tasting Room Open

Posted by Abram Goldman-Armstrong (Creator)

What started as a garage conversion has grown into something much bigger, we are proud to announce that both the tasting room and production sides of our new home are up and running and we've moved out of the garage entirely!

Save the Date! Grand Opening Party

We’re throwing a grand opening bash at our new digs at 807 NE Couch St. on November 12th, from noon-10pm with limited ciders on draft and available to go. We’ll be releasing the 2015 vintage of 1763 and featuring our latest Black Bloc release, San Patricios Tequila Barrel-Aged Irish Cider. We’re happy to give tours of the production facility and show off what your support has helped us achieve.

Tasting Room and Pub Is Open

If you haven’t yet checked out our tasting room and pub please do stop in). Abram Goldman-Armstrong built out the space with a heavy emphasis on salvaged lumber, including oak floors, and Doug fir 2x8’s from Lovett Deconstruction, shiplap from Salvageworks, and material salvaged on site from the remodel. Our building has been decorated with lovely murals by artists from Osaka and Tokyo as part of the Forest For the Trees mural festival. Stop by for a game of darts, our hang out on the patio. Current hours are 4-9 Wed-Friday, 12-9 Saturday and 12-6 Sundays. Harvest Report 2016 We just finished pressing the 2016 vintage of 1763 and Burncider, as well as Porters Perfection and Kingston Black bittersharp single varietals, so look for those out next year.

Supporters Sought

We’ve got the buildout just about wrapped up and are buying the cider press from White Oak Cider, which we have been pressing 1763 and Burncider on since the beginning out at the White Oak Cider Farm. Purchasing it and bringing it on site will allow us to process apples more efficiently and sustainably. To help with this we are seeking 5 year private loans. Supporters who lend money will not only get a 7.5% return on their investment, but get cider as well, and not just any cider. In addition to a free pint at the pub each day, supporters will be given one bottle of Black Bloc reserve line releases, starting with 2013, 2014, and 2015 vintages of 1763, Bogman’s Cranberry Brett, Pinot Barrel Aged Burncider, and our newest release San Patricios Tequila Barrel Aged Irish Cider. For further details please contact Abram Goldman-Armstrong at or 503-730-5597

Thanks so much for helping this dream take flight, we now have 6 full time employees and are continuing to make some of the finest dry cider on the continent, we couldn't have done it without you. Cheers!
