The Cryptobestiary is a peculiar and mystifying creature supplement crafted for the 5th edition of the world’s greatest role-playing game. With many creatures to discover and enjoy, this project aims to implement both well known and more obscure creatures of cryptic origins, while preserving their mystery with necessary twists and reinterpretations.
Our primary goal is to capture the spirit of American monsters without limiting the creativity needed to present your players with interesting encounters with fun, tension building mechanics and story elements to make them suitable for a variety of fantasy settings. Each creature has been deconstructed and rebuilt to preserve the tone and mystery of their legends for a contemporary audience, who might otherwise already know what lurks behind the door the heroes shouldn’t open.
This edition of the Cryptobestiary is aimed to be a 125+ page full-color, hardcover print run featuring fantastical and horrifying accounts of the creatures inside. This creature feature will contain 30 monsters to begin with, each with original art and mechanics, with high res digital format available by default along with our printer friendly edition!
Presented through the writing voice of 4 fantasy cryptid hunters of questionable reliability, this book will feature a plethora of creatures that your funding and support will help expand (up to 50 creatures in all).

Risks and challenges
This is our teams first foray into the industry, but not our first time using the skills necessary to succeed in it. We are artists and creators who can keep up with the pace we've set for ourselves, and are dedicated to not only providing the best book possible, but also keeping our supporters updated and aware of our progress.
Our goal is to use this campaign as the jumping-off point for life long careers in independent media. We will settle for nothing less than the long-term sustainability and success of our studio, and that means consistency and responsibility.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
