Unstoppable Origins is an opportunity for us to focus the spotlight on a single character within the Unstoppable Comics Universe. More often than not, the characters that are chosen to appear in Unstoppable Origins are those that have struck a chord with those that have read various comics that we publish. Unstoppable Origins #4 features the origin of Dr.Zero, the man who has been causing trouble for the Stormchasers from the beginning of the series. Find out why he looks this way and what caused it, but more importantly find out why he hates The Stormchasers.
For those of you that have never heard of Unstoppable Comics, we are a small comic book production company based in New York. Our comic books are based on modern day heroes that wear capes and costumes, and exist in a shared universe. We are not trying to reinvent the wheel, at Unstoppable Comics we just want to tell interesting stories from a new perspective. We do not have the big budget that most companies have, so we creatively introduce the characters of our shared universe within the pages of The Stormchasers. Each story arc brings in new characters, and those that gain interest get a spotlight in the Unstoppable Origins series, or get their own title such as Dragonstorm or Interceptor. We want to make the characters under the masks look like the people we grew up with, and treat it with dignity. For the past couple of years we have been hitting conventions up and down the east coast from Boston to Puerto Rico and back, and in that time adding to our catalog of titles.
The budget breakdown is pretty simple. All the artwork is done for Unstoppable Origins #4, all we are looking for is funding to print the comic book. So all of the money that is raised will go to printing with the exception of the fees that are taken by Kickstarter and Amazon. Once the money has changed hands to us the comic book will be sent to the printer. Two weeks from that point (baring any problems) we should receive the books and ship them out. So expect to see the comics in your home within 3-4 weeks of the end to this Kickstarter campaign.
The creative team on Unstoppable Origins #4 is the same team that was on the previous kickstarter campaign for Stormchasers #1:redux. Unstoppable origins #4 is written by JayDee Rosario, illustrated by Russ Leach, and colored by Michael Summers. Russ has been with Unstoppable Comics for a while now having illustrated issues #5,#6 and #7 of the Stormchasers as well as Unstoppable Origins #2 and #3. Russ is also working on the Interceptor mini series with Brandon Easton. Michael Summers has been with Unstoppable Comics almost from the beginning. He has colored every issue from Unstoppable Comics with the exception of the original Stormchasers #1. JayDee Rosario is the publisher of Unstoppable Comics and has written issues of the Stormchasers and Unstoppable Origins.
Kickstarter offers us opportunities to expand our reach to readers that we have not met due to travel limitations, or because we are not featured on many of the popular news sites. This is not our first kickstarter campaign. Having failed in our first attempt we learned some valuable lessons, and are now applying it to this campaign. As for those that already know and support us, Kickstarter allows these fans (or Unstoppable Ones as I call them) to help us spread the word. This in turn gets us to produce more of the material they are growing to love.
Kickstarter also allows us the opportunity to manage our printed copies. Through this we only print what is ordered on kickstarter, plus another hundred copies or so. The reason we are doing this is to maintain the issue as a collectible, and to have as incentives for the next kickstarter and conventions.

Risks and challenges
There are always risks and challenges in everything we do. As a comic book publisher I have experienced printing and shipping delays, creative differences, and people dropping out of a project mid production. These are things that have happened and will always happen. That is why I have tried to limit as many of the x factors on this Kickstarter as possible, by starting first with an art production team that is knows and has worked with each other for years. As I said earlier the book is already made, all we have to do is print it up. Aside from that, I hope our library speaks for itself in regards to the quality of our comic books.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
