Greetings and update for Laser kit, Fleks3D, LattePand & Survey

Posted by DreamMaker (Creator)

Dear backers,

Now we’re posting the last update for 2015, which has been a special year for our team. We completed our campaign on Kickstarter, rolled the Overlord printer from an idea to a product, and we’ll finish shipping all the rest rewards in the last month. Though it’s far from being perfect, we keep moving forward with you.

First thing first

we’ve shipped all the Laser Kit for backers, the software and user manual for LaserLord is available at

This is a rather basic software, we believe there can be more function that the laser engraver can do. So we go open source soon and we welcome all comments and suggestions to help us go further.

Good news

Fleks3D will support Overlord printers .Fleks3D is a flexible and removable printing bed for ABS,PLA and Flex. If you have interest, just go and back their project now!

One more project on Kickstarter we’d like to mention is LattePanda, “a £45 Win10 Computer For Everything”. The LattePanda team helped DM to develop more functions for OLP wifi. If you like their idea, check it out

At last, thank you for choosing Overlord and help us making it a better printer together. We hope you can do the online survey before you shut down computer. We’ll send a gift to the first 50 users who replied our survey. Survey link:

We wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I also completed the survey. I have a Gold Survey Monkey subscription and have used it extensively. Based on the link I received and consideration the survey had exactly 10 questions, it looks like a free Survey Monkey account was used. I think the only way they could glean who completed the survey would be if they setup individual surveys. I'd be really surprised if they did this as it will be very difficult to analyze the results. Easiest way to tell would be to compare our survey links. Here is the survey ID from the url link I received 8TZ376V. If we all have the same, the best the Dreammaker team is going to get is the IP address of the respondent.

Just did the survey. As you all have mentioned there was no input box for the email or name. I do feel surprised.

Yeap. I've done it too. And I wonder the same thing like Andrew.

Did the survey. I feel tricked.

I wonder how are you going to contact first 50 if there is not a single field like email or name in survey?
