Wallpaper Rewards Are On Their Way to You!
Hello, everyone! We're having an awesome and exciting day!
Firstly, that's because our custom dice have arrived! Many of you pledged to receive them as rewards, and we now have hundreds upon hundreds of them ready and waiting to head out toward you. Opening a giant box of dice is certainly a rush, although we avoided swimming in them out of consideration for all of you. They look fantastic and we're super excited that the manufacturer got them to us so early - check them out!
As we noted in a previous update, we dropped the ball a bit and forgot to include a request for all of you to tell us what color dice you would prefer if you pledged for them. Never fear - we'll be sending out individual messages to you this week to make sure we have your preference, and there're more than enough of each color to go around!
In other reward-related news, we also got the final wallpapers back from the art department today, and they are snazzy! Featuring gorgeous art by Julian Lancaster, depicting the polytheistic modern world of Hero's Journey, they are ready and about to wing their way straight to your email inboxes. If you pledged at the Soldier of Stories level or above, please be on the lookout for an email from us at firstname.lastname@example.org!
If you don't receive your wallpaper email in the next few hours, please double-check your spam and junk folders; this is an email going to a lot of people with an active link in it, so some email clients may accidentally flag it. If you don't see it there, make sure you've completed your survey and sent us your preferred email. If you've done that and still haven't received it, don't panic! Send us a message here through Kickstarter, and we'll check on the situation and make sure you receive your wallpapers as quickly as possible.
Thank you all for your continuing support as we head closer to seeing this game become a reality. You are all fantastic!
Update: Well, darn, it didn't take us long to make a goofy mistake. The first email we sent out to all of you had the wrong link to the wallpapers in it, which you can tell because it requests a username and password to log in. We've just resent a second message with the correct link - please disregard the first one, and accept our humble apologies. Thank you to alert backers for letting us know so quickly!
