About

I would like to publish my book in the UK, in the USA and worldwide, in order to make more and more people fell in love with this new trend of fiction. I intend to issue all the six volumes in the future, so that imagination can gain space again in human’s life and they can hold a book in their hands that not only offers unforgettable experiences but brings them a new approach to life, too.

 Prologue

“New journeys always begin when we least expect them.”

The roar of the engines enveloped the open space. Leather-gloved hands gripped their throttles. With narrowed eyes, the competitors concentrated on the task before them. The instant catch and surge of their machines echoed as the racers took off, their spinning wheels kicking up the muddy turf soaked with the previous days rain. The German Motocross Championship had begun. Forty professional racers were competing, and among them one young woman: Sarah. They feared her the most. She possessed amazing speed and technique, had been undefeated this season. She wore the number 5.

“Suddenly everything is turned upside down, and your life is destroyed.”

The loudspeaker excitedly commented on the event. Straightaway, Sarah blazed into the lead. Already she had cleared the first obstacle with no hands. Cresting the second sandbank, she stood up on her motorcycle. The crowd cheered. Sarah revelled in the praise and gave her motorbike more gas. She feared nothing.

“You can fight it, but it beats you and stomps you into the dirt.”

Many spectators could barely stand watching this female competitor with her death-defying bravery. Their nerves couldn’t take it. Others, however, held their breaths and followed her as she dazzled the audience with increasingly daring stunts. The cameras focused only on Sarah. She left the other racers behind. The last obstacle was coming up, a sharp half-pipe turn christened the Devil's Trap. Many had fallen attempting this hazardous bend. A voice inside Sarah warned her to slow down. But she only pulled harder on the gas. She entered the slippery half-pipe at top speed, shutting out everything – her crew waving from the distance, the frantic spectators, and the cameras flashing left and right

. “Death is no escape, for it finds you and drags you back.”

She reached a state of total ecstasy as though time had slowed down. The world’s noise ceased, problems disappeared, and she was encased in this moment. The girl closed her eyes so that she could enjoy this captivating moment to the full. All of the sudden her face, hidden in the helmet, was touched by a cool wind. The stark reality broke the shell of her sweet dream into pieces. Sarah opened her eyes, and now she wasn’t alone any more. A cold phantom of a shadow was running by her side. It raced beside her along the arching bend, just as quickly as Sarah’s speeding motorbike. Sarah’s turquoise eyes opened wide in surprise, and she gripped her handlebars so tightly she nearly hurt her fingers. The chilly, translucent being was quite close. She could feel the ice-cold air it exuded. Then, after a second which seemed like an hour, the spirit addressed her in an unearthly voice. The mouth of this four-legged shadow did not move. Sarah heard the spine-tingling words in her head. I await you! Find me! Save me! These sentences, like the tolling of noon day bells, resounded in her mind. As the last word faded away completely, the spectre, with all its strength, pounced on the motorbike. Sarah was immediately knocked off balance and tumbled from the half-pipe onto solid ground. Amid immense crackling and clouds of dirt, her motorcycle crashed into the wall, tumbling to the earth, shattered. Sarah, lying on her back gazed at the motorbikes darting past as her vision grew dark.

“It smacks you down and tramples you.”

Finally, all strength abandoned her as she fainted. Yet even as consciousness left her, the phantom’s captivating words rang in her ears: “Await, find, save!” “But in place of your old life, you will receive another; perhaps much more difficult and unpromising than the last, but heed well, it will make you immortal!” There is a world which doesn't resemble any other. It is dangerous and unpredictable for those unprepared. This dimension is called Drakdrek. The operation of the universe is maintained through the perfect balance of the three dimensions, for which the Royal Council, whose members live in Drakdrek, are responsible. Every year, using an ancient tradition called spirit laceration, they choose a few youngsters from the Earth who are near the age of sixteen. Those individuals selected are invited to Raws Fighter Training School in an attempt to prevent a new dimension war. This battle began earlier, however. For some reason Sarah Elmost, a professional cross-country motorcyclist, hasn’t found her place on the Earth. She received an invitation to Raws after recovering from a near death experience. From the moment she arrived in Drakdrek she had experienced unbelievable things. The nightmare horse recurrant in her dreams had become a reality, and it appeared as if the Drakdrekians were hiding something from her.

"Hush, do you hear?” The two boys looked at their father confused. „Listen well and feel their desperation.” Suddenly the harrowing tune coming from the riverbed got louder. „Are they crying down there,” asked Jonas in fear? He looked at his father who was holding the bridle of the unicorn. The man shook his head. „No, they are not. It is the fairies praying. They are begging to be rescued,” he explained, comfortingly patting his son's blond locks. „The fairies of the river are waiting for their saviour. But who are they? They are the offspring of the worlds. They are the Soulriders."

Risks and challenges

In cas e it would be difficult to find a publisher for the first volume, I would issue it in a shorter form e.g. as a comic book, or a bilingual one with simplified and shortened text for language lerners.
