Design update - rewards, tube stations and the team
Sorry we've been a bit quiet recently - we've been really working hard behind the scenes, and wanted to wait until we had some real news to share. Today we're going to let you know all the details of what's purring at C.A.T.S HQ!
We've been working as a team since April, but we had a great meeting last night and things are really speeding up now. We have an amazing core team of about 10 people working on this, but there are a lot of jobs to do! Please be patient with us as we try to do everything on time and on budget. We appreciate all your feedback, so please keep sending your questions and messages of support.
The Cat-Ad-Blocker is receiving a final few tweaks and is almost ready to go. Look out for details about how to download it very soon.
We're designing the final few postcards featuring your lovely cats. We're still short of 8 responses, so if you booked the postcard reward but haven't sent us an image then please get in touch! They'll be on their way very soon.
We're designing the stickers right now and will be in touch soon for your postal addresses. They're going to look ace.
Early next week we'll send out a survey for the T-Shirts. We've found a really great supplier that uses recycled plastic bottles to make them. Please reply asap to the survey with your size and address, so that we can deliver them by September as promised.
Finally, we are about to send a very important survey to the people who booked a space on one of the posters for their own cat. This is a really urgent one, because we need to get them in time to print the tube posters themselves!
We're a whisker away from confirming the time and place of the C.A.T.S takeover itself! We're negotiating a final few details but it's looking great - we're going to transform one of London's busiest stations into a giant festival of cats.
We're working towards a date in mid-September, so get ready for a visit!
As you can imagine, this is a big job as we have to design and arrange the pictures supplied by Battersea + Cats Protection and put your cats onto the special poster. We need to organise a publicity event too, and decide what we want to say to the public. We'd love to hear your suggestions for our main 'message'.
Please look out for a newsflash next week, once we've confirmed the station and date.
In the meantime, thank you for all the support and patience, and remember to reply to your survey as soon as you receive it!
With lots of excitement,
The Glimpse team.
