Over 40% of American’s do not understand just how important credit scores are.
Let’s teach our kids to avoid credit repair it is way TOO expensive per month-Keep MORE OF YOUR MONEY!
Solution: Let’s start the conversation at an early age. Get a Copy of Credit Scores while supplies last!
CREDIT SCORES HAS NEVER BEEN SO MUCH FUN!!
Credit Scores™ is a board game for the entire family, ages 10 and up. The game only takes some basic reading, addition and subtraction. While you’re having fun playing a game, you’re also teaching your kids all about the importance of credit scores, all at the same time! Be the first to win the “740 Crown” by getting to a 740 credit score first! Once you reach a 740 score, shout "My Credit Is Good"!
I achieved an 800 credit score at only 30 years of age I share that only to give myself some creditability. I want you and your children to reach a good credit score as well, and that is why I created this game! Having good credit helps remove so much stress from your life, it never gets old hearing the words "You Are Approved", and not to mention, it saves you so much money! My last credit pull was April 23, 2014, and my scores are listed below:
- Experian score was 807
- Equifax score was 802
- Transunion score was 801
I have worked on this game for close to a year now because I wanted to bring an exciting game to the market. I also want you and your children to say “MY CREDIT IS GOOD”! I strongly believed if there was an exciting way to learn about credit scores early in life, then we wouldn’t need so many credit repair companies, and people would have more money in their bank accounts by paying less interest on purchases like cars, T.V.’s, mortgages, credit cards, student loans, business loans, boat loans, auto insurance, etc.
Why are credit scores so Important?
- Could be denied to buy a car
- Could be denied to buy a house
- Could pay more per month for auto insurance
- Could be denied a job/career
Could simply pay higher rates when you do need financing
I have worked in the mortgage industry for over a decade, and I know all too well just how important our credit scores are in today’s society. I do not think I’m alone when I say our credit scoring system is not going away any time soon. Why can’t we teach our children about credit scores in school? Our children will eventually become adults and are going to need credit. Instead of complaining about the credit system, I have decided to take action!
I created this game because I understand children grow up and adulthood takes over with buying a car, attending college, getting married, buying a home, and applying for credit cards. There might even be a day when one of our children grows up to be an entrepreneur and will want to start their own business. The list here can go on forever, and it just goes to show precisely how important our credit scores can be in our everyday lives.
Despite just how important our credit score is, many people lack knowledge of the credit scoring system. Click the link below to read just how "Millennials Have No Idea How Credit Scores Work" by Martha C White.
A few more good links I would like to share are below:
This article below talks about how some people are more embarrassed to mention their credit scores over age, weight. I thought it was very Interesting.
This brings me to another reason why I created this game. The credit repair business is over a billion dollar business. Yes, I said BILLION! I know that no person or parent wants to say “yes, sign me up for credit repair” or even worse, “sign my children up one day as they become adults”. Credit repair is very expensive when we hire a service to do this for us. Here are a few numbers on how expensive credit repair can be. Keep in mind, my numbers below represent a conservative estimate across the board as to how much credit repair can end up costing us.
LET’S TEACH OUR KIDS SO THEY NEVER NEED TO HIRE A CREDIT REPAIR SERVICE
1.) You will usually pay a one-time setup fee of roughly $50.
2.) Your monthly fee usually begins in the range of about $50.
3.) The average consumer spends about 6 months in a credit repair program. Once you factor in your setup fee, you’re looking at spending a minimum of $350. I would much rather teach myself and my children about credit scores for much less money. I do not believe I'm alone when I say the credit scoring world needs to see a huge change. Therefore, what does Credit Scores™ look like? And what exactly do you get with the game? Let’s take a look:
WHAT IS IN THE GAME BOX
- One Board Game. The size of the board is a 20” x 20” quad fold design, as seen in the photo above. (The design of the board is amazing! Thank you to my wonderful designer, Mr. Tim Lutz, from Boardwalk Design.)

Extra Fun Moves throughout the Game in the Instructions
- If you roll doubles at any point in the game, you will roll again. This can be done three consecutive times before it is the next player’s turn
- The first player to successfully navigate around the board one full time gains 25 points.
- If your player pawn happens to land on another player’s pawn, you can either increase your own credit score by 10 points, or you can decrease that player’s score by 10 points. This will be to your advantage as players get close to the “740 Crown”.

STORY OF CREDIT SCORES
I have been around credit scores since I graduated high school. I see credit scores and reports on a daily basis working in the mortgage industry. I have always been fascinated by credit scores and how they work, more specifically what makes them increase and decrease. I have consistently gone above and beyond for several of my clients over the years, helping them go from not being qualified to purchase a home due to a low credit score to helping them increase their score so they can achieve the “American Dream” of homeownership!
Credit Scores: We all need them, at least the majority of us, unless you have plenty of money for all those large purchases such as a car, mortgage, boat, funding a business, etc. Even if you have plenty of money, sometimes credit is still needed. I was watching T.V. recently, and Warren Buffet pulled out a credit card. Warren Buffet is the third wealthiest man in the world, according to Forbes.com list of the world richest people in 2013. Even Mr. Buffet knows the importance of credit, even though he could pay cash for absolutely anything he wanted.
There are millions of people who need to obtain financing for those large purchases, including myself. Most banks and lenders will want to take a look at your three credit scores from the three national credit bureaus, which are Experian, Equifax, and Transunion, before the bank or lender agrees to approve you for financing.
Let me ask you a couple of questions here. Who is teaching our young children about the importance of credit scores? Who is teaching the Millenials/Generation Y (ages 18-34) about the importance of their credit scores? Let's be honest, I don't believe there is a school system in our country that teaches the young minds of America just how important this really is. Which is another reason why I worked so hard on this game it's time to make a change! For whatever reason school on any level doesn't want to teach credit scores. Well how about finally you can take a fun product home that will get you and your kids ready for the credit world! Well what do you say? Are you ready to change the credit score world together!
The high school class of 2014 is getting ready to graduate. Who has prepared them for life away from mom and dad, and the financial responsibility that comes with it? Why is this age group suffering the most when it comes to credit score knowledge? It’s because there is nothing that exists that prepares them for the financial rigors of adulthood and that gets people prepared for the credit world, that is, until today!
This young generation struggles the most with their credit scores, in my opinion, because we usually learn about credit scores through trial and error. However, through trial and error we lose hundreds of dollars, it would probably even be safe to say we lose thousands. As we get older, we learn how credit works and just how powerful having good credit is, but there has to be a better way to break this cycle so our children are not losing enormous amounts of money during their young adult years. There finally is a fun way to get you and your children prepared for the credit world.

The higher your credit scores are usually means the more money you get to keep in your family's bank account! Whenever you buy a home, car, need a credit card, business loan, etc., usually ten out of ten times the bank or lender will ask you to check your credit scores.
This game will teach you things you never learned about credit scores, while having fun at the same time. That is precisely why I created this game, so you can keep more money in your bank account and take advantage of the best rates on the market when you need financing! It's time to change the credit score world and help everyone, especially our young generation, because having goof credit is so much FUN! How many copies would you like? Risks and challenges
This is my first project and I would be lying to you if I said things will be perfect. I promise no matter what may come up, I will simply be upfront and communicate to my supporters in the credit scoring community and we will handle whatever comes our way.
In the end I will deliver an exceptional, high quality, FUN game for you, your family, and friends to enjoy! I simply look at this venture as paying my bills on time and being responsible. If you trust me with your hard earned money, I WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN!
I plan on delivering your game on time, possibly even early! I have some cushion time built in to be safe and the t-shirts will be ready as well.
This game is print ready, which means as soon as I know how many to order and the campaign is over, I will place the order with a manufacturing company. The custom playing piece, the “740 Crown”, takes 6-8 weeks because it will be made in China. The first of many things on the “to-do list” is to place the order on the custom piece so we can get it to you as soon as possible. I can’t wait to show you what it looks like!
I have spent nearly a year doing research about the board game industry, contacting manufacturers, getting price quotes, and testing the game with family and friends. I even made a road trip to a manufacturing company, which is where I was able to see an assembling line of just how a board game comes together. It was an amazing experience, worth every minute of the drive.
As we change the credit score world, I will provide updates with constant communication and photos, so you will always be a part of changing the credit score world. You were there in the very beginning and that is something special to be proud of! Who changed the credit score world? YOU DID!!! Say it loud and say it proud, “MY CREDIT IS GOOD!!!”Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
