About this project
Risks and challenges
I've been lucky enough to have run two successful Kickstarters before this one, so I've got a pretty good understanding of what can go right and more importantly what can go wrong!
The main difficulty in any Kickstarter is judging how popular it's going to be and making adequate preparations for the time scales to deliver everything to you lot in a timely fashion. It went right on my first Kickstarter, but things got a little overdue in the second one...mainly because it rather rapidly superseded my expectations by a rather large amount!
This time around I've purposely put in a fulfilment date of December this year (2017). I'm working on the basis that things will be fulfilled well before then, but this should hopefully be enough time to get everything cast and sent out to you all. If we only *just* hit target, then because the Virgin figure is all ready to go into production, fulfilment time will be considerably quicker. However, the more figures we can make the more time I'll need to get things done - which is both a blessing and a curse!
However, for backers of my previous campaigns and people who've bought from me in the past, I think you'll know that I'm a pretty straight-up kind of chap and everything that I put out is layered in as good a quality as possible and this is something that trumps everything else...
After the campaign ends, and if it's successful, a pledge manager will open up on my main website. Everyone who pledges will be given the pledge amount as a 'credit note' for the store to then choose exactly what they want. It worked really well for the Argonauts Kickstarter and I have no doubt it'll work fine this time too. It allows me to monitor the orders very carefully and make sure you all get what you pledged!
And I think that's about it. If you have any burning questions, post a comment on the page and I'll get back to you asap!
All the best,
