About this project
Our project goal is to bring Hamilton Beer to the public by opening up a brewery with a tasting room in the city of Rancho Cucamonga. The funds we raise will go towards the licensing fees and any brew space renovations needed at our brewery. Possible renovations are an additional restroom and a floor drain system. If we are able to surpass our goal, any additional funds will go towards larger brewing equipment.
OUR BEER PHILOSOPHY
Beer is a gift, it is meant for our enjoyment, and we respect it. All of the beers we brew are uncompromisingly fresh, whether it's the blood oranges purchased at a local farmer's market, or the barley grown in California. We strive to keep it local. We do this because we love our city and we want to explore all of the potential flavors and collaborations it can offer.
OUR BREWERY PHILOSOPHY
We seek to create an atmosphere of community at our brewery where our passion for people is equaled only by a passion for beer. A family brewery should feel just like that, a family. Take your time in line to talk and taste with us as we find your favorite Hamilton beer together.
REWARDS SAMPLE MENU
$35 Flex-Fit Logo Hat
$35 Teal Women's Tank
$35 Black Men's Tank
$25 iPhone Hard Case
909 WHEAT. A crisp, refreshing, wheat beer is at the heart of this brew but it is aggressively hopped with only cascade hops and brewed with a generous amount of oranges. During the final stages of fermentation, we add more hops and more oranges.
YOUNG FOOL PALE ALE. A classic American pale ale, with tons of hop aroma and flavor. An easy drinking beer with a presence on your pallet you will not forget.
FAITH HOP LOVE. This imperial I.P.A. is a masterpiece of a brew. Bright, citrus aromas followed by robust, tropical flavors with a smooth, bitter finish is this beer's trademark. This beer is very aggressive and should not be approached by a novice to I.P.A.s.
R.B.I. The name stands for rye, brown, India. The brew has a deep amber to brown hue and contains bright, floral, and pine hop aromas and flavors. R.B.I. finishes with a lingering bitterness complemented by the rye.
KNOCKOUT STOUT. Our oatmeal stout is just that. A large, yet classic example of a beautiful pitch black, dry beer. With robust roasted barley flavors complemented by a hint of coffee and chocolate, this smooth beer is a real treat.
SEASONAL. Throughout the year, we offer many different seasonal beers.
WATERMELON BLONDE. A crisp refreshing blonde with fresh real watermelons.
DOUBLE MANGO I.P.A. An I.P.A. with magnum and citra hops brewed with fresh real mangos.
BLOODY ALE. A barley wine style ale with 11.1% ABV, brewed with the zest of fresh, local blood oranges.
We offer many other styles of beers, and plan on adapting our menu continually to find the beers you cannot live without. We are excited about experimentation and collaboration with you and other breweries.
Aside from the reasonably priced awesome rewards, you will receive a gift we can not give but only you can give yourself-the feeling of joy knowing you helped someone else take a step closer to their dream. Every Kickstarter campaign is all or nothing. Either we raise all of our goal, or we get nothing. Every dollar counts! Your donation will not be wasted, it will grow into a local brewery where you can relax, escape, and meet with friends. Why give?? Because you deserve good beer in your life.
HOW TO GIVE
It is super easy! Kickstarter will walk you through the process once you decide which level of donation is right for you. First, you will make a simple Kickstarter account. Next, if you don't already have one, you will make an Amazon account (a third party company who keeps everyone's donations safe until the project is funded or the money is safely returned).
WHERE THE FUNDS WILL GO?
Licensing. Our brewery needs an A.B.C. (alcohol beverage control) license, a TTB (alcohol and tobacco, tax and trade bureau) license, and a C.U.P. (conditional use permit).
Renovations. We plan on building a second restroom in our tasting room, along with a floor drain system to assist us in the brewing process.
Risks and challenges
The risks we face with this project mostly deal with our location. Licensing from the federal and state governments are costly, but very straight forward procedures. Once our location in Rancho Cucamonga is secure, we will undergo a conditional use permit process to allow us to sell our beer. This process could hopefully require very little to no changes to our facility. It is possible the city may require thicker walls, another restroom, more parking spaces, and so on.
We have been fortunate enough to have many friends in the brewing industry who can walk us through most of this process. We will meet these risks head on, with as much foresight and planning as possible.
What ever challenge we may face, we are determined to fight through it in order to successfully open up Hamilton Family Brewery.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
