About this project
Hello All, Chef Lee Hermann here I am a classically trained chef with a degree in culinary creations, with certifications as a Pro Chef from the C.I.A San Antonio. My Team Adrienne Brewer, Chef Terrance Howard (Le cordon Bleu) Ben Mccabe and let's not forget Tyson (Our energetic Mixed breed boxer son.) Our Project started out with how to bring a pet friendly restaurant to the streets of Dallas,Frisco and surrounding areas. With health codes you can not really have pets inside a restaurant for piddle purposes. So We came up with "Equal Bites for All" If there is one thing in Texas as big as our appetites its the love for our four legged friends. Our Pet/Human fusion offers a wide variety of treats, eats and drinks that are organic, healthy, pet safe and delicious not just for you pet but you as well. Think about when you are out at the park, dog park or any festival that is in Dallas and your pet is with you, other than bottle water or maybe a hamburger patty what is there for your pet and you to eat or share that is good let alone healthy? Not much so that is why we are here with a full line of Ceratonia siliqua "Carob" a chocolate dairy alternative. Now for a little history on Carob.( Thanks Wikipedia) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ceratonia_siliqua Vegan friendly "Carob" Vegan friendly "Carob" Now we are able to offer a chocolate that will not sicken or harm your pet. also breads, drinks and much much more. My Team and I have mastered the culinary creation that is loved by both pet and human. Being from Texas we will also offer the meat and potatoes that we all so love with grass fed organic meats we offer the highest quality possible direct to the adventure that you and your furry friend are on. Our project goal is just for enough to get the Kitchen and online store rolling. Here is how our budget brakes down... 1) The food truck is 2200 down 2200 a month so 4400.00 USD to get into. (Takes a month to build.) 2) Kitchen start up looking at 1500.00 for lease at U.S. Foods use of commissary kitchen, bakery 3) Permitting and fire inspection through the city of Dallas 4) Initial stock and inventory. The Love and care is out there and I know we spend money on what we love and want and the research shows that there is plenty of room for growth and potential for this business, not just a food truck fad or craze however a sustainable resource for pets and their humans too!!! Sponsorship, donations and corporate backing is something we are not opposed to so P.L.U.R (Peace Love Unity and Respect) I am 25 been in the restaurant business for over 9 years and animal lover all my life. My Husband Lee is 36,Husband first, Then a Marine that was disabled in Afghanistan post 9/11, that through the miracle of medicine and 3 surgery's later had my hand back in 95% working order. Went to culinary school @ the C.I.A (Home of other greats like Anthony Bordaine, Cat Cora ect). Been a Chef for about 4 years now and pet lover all his life so we decided to incorporate the two and build a business that my soon to be here Daughter can be a part of from day to day. Through growth and opportunity we all gain a better way of living.
Thank you for looking at Our Project
