About

"How On Earth...?" is a game that uses imagination and creativity.

This is the first project and I am looking to raise money to get a prototype printed. It will be tested and then put on Kickstarter again to raise money for production.

The game is simple and easy to play.

You start with teams. These teams can be individual people or groups. Each team receives a player piece for the board. One team is elected as the, "judge" team at the beginning. This could be the youngest team, or the oldest team, or the home team, away team... it's up to you.

The judge or judges roll the die. This die has different colors that corresponds to a group of cards. Then the judge takes the first card from the colored group he or she rolled. Then reads what is on the card. It could be:

Who on Earth is...         Red group of cards.

What on Earth is...        Blue group of cards.

Where on Earth is...      Green group of cards.

The first team to the left of the judge improvises a story on the spot about this who, what or where and the next team tells there story until all the teams have told a story to the judge. The judge then chooses his or her favorite and that team gets to move forward on the board.

After the judges pick their favorite team they read out the actual who, what or where on the card. This helps to educate people on people, places and things. This also means we can print extra cards with new and up to date things.

The team that judges changes every round by rotating left around the teams so every team has a turn being the judge.

Risks and challenges

An obvious obstacle is money. I want to make this work because I think it is a very fun idea and I want to see it work.

I live in a very small village so printing will be difficult for a prototype but I am overcoming it by asking a little bit more to compensate for other costs including travel among other things.
