downloaded and installed the version 1.0, and i still only have featured and history tabs on my 4s... thoughts? I rebooted, still only 2 tabs. Tried swiping, dragging, double tap, still only 2 tabs.
Just got my GoPano today but can't seem to get it to focus. All my videos are blurry. Suggestions?
You guys uploaded the wrong application to the app store. This latest GoPano app is just the VideoWarp application with a different name. You can't actually capture videos with it.
Would be nice to get this fixed ASAP as I just got the hardware but can't do anything with it. I'm sure many others are having the same problems.
The latest app store app works on the 4s, but still has the same problems with focus. Raw footage from the iPhone camera app look pretty clean and clear, so it must be the app or the conversion routine that is causing the fuzzy-ness.
ok, it's working now. it took 3 tries to install it? update kept saying 1 update available, downloaded, installed, then still 2 tabs. After 3 installs, it's working.
Sometimes it takes a little while for Apple to get the app distributed across the world. If you didn't get 1.0 from the first try give it a few minutes and check your Updates.
It's been nearly four weeks since my GoPano Micro was indicated as 'Shipped' and there is no sign of it as yet. How long do I have to wait for a delivery in Australia?
I had such high hopes for this optic and app. The reality is that the video quality is horrible. In this day and age of 720P and 1080i this is a step back 7 years or so. The resolution is so low that at times you can't even identify the scene that you are looking at. To be fair to the developer though the quality is the same as the videos they show on their web site. It's just that I was so excited by the possibility that I never paid close attention and over looked the poor resolution and quality.
I have used both software versions .9 and 1.0 released today and gotten the same results. Speaking of the software, after upgrading software all of my movies shot with ver .9 disappeared from my history and album. I also have not been able to get the share arrow to work in either version.
Just received mine today. I expected it to be pretty plug and play but when I mounted the lens, more on this in a moment, and fired up V 1.0 what I see is an image that is rather blurry but most annoying is that even with the Iphone resting on a level surface the image is tilted to the right around 45 degrees.
I went to the Gopano.com website and there is almost zero information about getting started with the app so I can only assume that this is some kind of bug with V1.0?
I clicked support and it directs you to a question box which, as there seems to be no content there it cannot answer any questions. But what is really a bother is there is no way to actually "contact" anyone. Which is why I ended up here.
So back to the lens. I slipped my phone into the case and snapped the lens into the mount. Ok so far but what I discovered is that the least amount of touching caused the lens to fall out of the mount.
This is a major flaw in a device whose main purpose, I would assume, is to complement a very mobile device.
So at this point I would have to say that I am not a happy customer and if there are not answers for these issues this device will be going into the circular file real soon.
@Micheal: I encountered that too. The fix is to tap the unlock icon in the upper left and when the unflattened image comes up you can drag it around a little to center it.
Otherwise, I have not been able to get the image focused either. It doesn't look any worse than the fuzzy demo ones, but certainly doesn't look anywhere as clear as the better ones. I'm stumped?
Video is fuzzy & resolution is poor. Is there a way to calibrate or fix this?
The the posters above mentioning the video quality. It will be low as the optic squeezed the whole 360 donut on the 720 pixels video the iPhone captures.
I have a very different concern, is there a way to open the lens up for cleaning? Somehow there seems to be dirt and smudges and because of the size I can't really go in there so would like to open it up for cleaning.
Anyone got any suggestions?
Hello, my packages of my 2 pledged GoPano micros are now at the customs duty in Germany and this because there is no invoice outside of the package. The customs duty needs always a copy of the invoice outside she package. Is their a invoice in the package or could you send me the invoice per mail. This would be very nice, because i need a invoice for the customs duty. And this very soon please. my Mail is firstname.lastname@example.org

Mr Gerard made a very good explanation for the poor quality of the video. I understand his concept well. But if that is the case, the creators should not have posted video samples like the hockey match and the penguins at the zoo. They are very misleading and gave us a false expection of what we would get. I think that is consider as fraud and we should be compensated if the blurry video issue cannot be fixed. US$50 is too much money spend for disappointment.

4S support is not working for me at all, the app crashes all the time, and when it's not crashing, it's showing me blank white where my live video should be and then it crashes again. Any word on when this might be fixed?

Michael, I'm starting to get more than a little pissed about not receiving my micro yet; it's coming on for five weeks since the website indicated that it had been shipped and I'm still waiting. I don't know how you sent it but I'm sure carrier pigeon would have been quicker. Can you please advise what you intend to do about it?

Would be easier to create a form in side of the account page to register it with the code :S?

Diogo, you'll need to sign up for an account for GoPano.com. It does not share your login information with kickstarter.gopano.com, which was just a site we put together specially for backers. Sorry for the confusion.
Michael Downs, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll see what we can do. International first class mail can take from 2-3 weeks at times, but 5 weeks is unusual. If it was lost in the mail we'll send out a replacement (with a different service).

I'm a bit puzzled by the rather low quality of the 360° vidéo generated by the App. Was clearly expecting a bit more than that.
As it is mainly a question of how the app manage the datas, I'm sure it would be corrected in the future, but also, I expect the Website to be able to offer an improved version, as we upload the raw data.
despite this "limited" fail, I'm getting a lot of demands and enquiry about how to get a GoPano in France, without ending paying 94 Euros ( $134) to get it in France.
So my question would be to know if it would be possible to manage a batch order of 100 GoPano, with an interesting price per piece, in order to flatten the Taxes, but also to lower the transport/Delivery fees ?

I just receive a mail from your product manager, regarding my enquiries on a large batch of GoPano... but nothing about the decieving quality of the video generated with our gopano.
Could you please bring us an answer, honest answer, on how it would be improved in the future ?
You projet have been largely funded by people like me, who where dazle by your demos, the least you can do, is stop BS us, in some of your answers.
I have to agree with Charles Liebert, the demo videos (shot with an iPhone 4???) look nothing like the video my 4S takes. I think at the very least, the backers deserve a detail and honest answer about the quality issues at hand as well as the steps being taken to resolves these issues.
Any update from GoPano on the poor video quality?
It would be nice to know.
