A native of Syracuse, NY, I moved to Kansas City in 2003 attracted by warmer weather and a low-key yet broad and diverse art community. This is where I came of age artistically, teaching myself the skill of oil painting and influenced by various local performance artists including aerialists, street buskers, and burlesque performers.
