Vote for LunaTik!

Posted by Scott Wilson + MINIMAL (Creator)

Hey all you LunaTiks! We are honored to have been nominated by iLounge Developer of the Year. This is amazing. We are up against the big guys like we were with the original Kickstarter TikTok+LunaTik campaign. But with the power and passion of the collective LunaTik community we definitely have a shot. We only have 3 days left for voting so if you want to support us for iLounge Developer of the Year we would be hugely thankful. You can fill out the simple 4-question check-box survey here.

The Crowd has Spoken

The feedback on the AnTiks in last week's update was so strong that we decided to make them after all. Now we have set up a system on our site to allow you to vote for your favorite versions of AnTik. So please go here and place your vote via the Notify Me button so we can better predict what you want.

Thanks again for your support. Hard to believe it has almost been a year since TikTok+LunaTik launched on Kickstarter. Stay tuned for an anniversary surprise.

I still haven't received my pledge watch bands. Really disappointed

I personally like the Orange faced one the most. Is there any word or plans still on the low profile Bluetooth module talked about when the watch originally came out?

Like the designs that have been offered but I really want one with roman numerals. Watches with roman numerals are a personal favorite!

Definitely considering other options for the future. Digital movements take longer to develop than repurposing existing Swiss or Japanese analog movements. Challenge with OLED is still battery life. But there are clever power management tricks you can play I guess.

@Kim: Nice but the digital ones are already being made by Apple. Maybe not OLED, but with a lot of different faces.

@Scott: What are you projecting the AnTik to cost? I can't find any mention of it.

Interested in building digital versions of AnTiks? Using OLED display technology perhaps? With a black background and a simple font (lifted from the old film-based Canon red LED status in the viewfinder) in a 2x2 arrangement (hour on top, minutes below) it would look minimal and downright sexy. The OLED display with most being black (zero power consumption) could last for quite some time.

Hey Will. I really want that as well. We went down the road with 3 suppliers but they all fell apart for one reason or another so far whether it was they had little or no quality control or in other cases they wanted $250k+ in development fees. Basically, no supplier out there is interested in making a dongle when most devices have BT integrated. That said, we are hoping that the new Bluetooth LE or Super chipsets in Apple iPhones will revive interest and possible support.

      Bound by cords-

      Hey Scott,

what ever happened to that low profile bluetooth adapter you were looking into making for the nano? any chance we might see that offering in the future?
