We really appreciate all of your continuous support and patience through this journey. Over the past few weeks, Solos has had to undergo an additional series of tests to evaluate full compliance with the latest regulatory standards that national and international federal agencies (i.e. FCC, IC, CE) require for wearable electronic devices. Performing these tests and addressing regulators’ requests has delayed our initial shipment plans. The team has been working around the clock with the different certification agencies to expedite these processes.
We are required by law to comply with all certifications in order to have official approval to ship to our USA backers, as well as to our international supporters to whom we became available later in our campaign. The certification processes for the hardware and software application of a new product like Solos have taken longer than we anticipated, and we shall inform you as soon as we receive notice of the expected date for the approvals to come in.
The good news is that as soon as we get the official approvals, we should be ready to start our initial deliveries. We have our great looking packaging and protective case ready to go, and our production team continues to make progress with the manufacturing process of Solos.
We also had great news earlier in the month when Solos was named CES 2017 Innovation Award Honoree in the Wearable Technologies category by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) TM. . The submissions were judged by a panel of independent industrial designers, independent engineers and members of the trade media to award outstanding design and engineering in cutting-edge consumer electronics products across 28 product categories. The prestigious CES Innovation Awards are sponsored by the CTA, the producer of CES, the annual global gathering place for the business of consumer technologies.
We will keep you informed of any developments. Please contact us at email@example.com if you have any specific questions.
Thank you very much for all your support,
