My lizard is the Lizard of Physical Rewards

This will just be a quick update to share some photos of the first finished Lizard cartridges sent to me by InfiniteNESLives, who is manufacturing them.

Here's the backer-exclusive white cartridge, with the instruction manual and box.

The grey version, for those who wanted it. Post-kickstarter, all of them will be grey.

InfiniteNESLives makes a variety of interesting products for the NES, including several homebrew releases. Take a look if you're interested.

So, while the hardware parts of physical rewards are coming together, the software still has a long way to go. I hate to do it, but I have to push back my projected dates a bit more.

I've made a lot of progress since the last update, but it's always slower than I expect. I was hoping to have a beta ready early this month, but I think realistically it will be more like the end of July. Sorry.

I'll share another update soon with some stuff I've been working on.

In the meanwhile, you may like to take a look at Star Versus.

This is a new NES game that was recently released. It's about battles in space, kind of reminiscent of Spacewar, or Star Control. There's a heavy emphasis on two-player action, but it also has a single player option. It's pretty neat, and if you're looking for something new to play on your NES, you should check it out.

Software is hard - good software doubly so. Take the time you need. We'll all be better for it.
