During my stay in Granada, Nicaragua, working as a volunteer in a NGO (Proyecto Mosaico), I met a local artist and film director; together we developed the idea of making a documentary with children about the Lake Nicaragua. It is the largest lake in Central America, but unfortunately its water is seriously polluted by sewage and garbage.
Through this project we want to create an open space for children to learn how to use a camera in a playful way, capturing various aspects of the pollution of the lake.
Our little actors will film the lake and its different aspects, and they will think about questions to ask locals their opinion trough creative and dynamic investigation. The process of developing this documentary will give these inexperienced young artists a chance to learn how to work their voice, presentation skills and self-esteem. There are so many things they can learn doing it and so many things you can learn watching it!
Your money will go to the camera
equipment to make this documentary happen.
Once ready, it will be shown during local events and will be made public online.
The creativity and originality of our little visionaries will surprise you, they will shine through different angles and perspective of the situation. They have the dream to get involved and to invite the audience into their world. Take action, be an inspiring part of the realization of their dreams!
We thank you from the bottom of our heart for your support!
