Posted by Kalin Ivanov (Creator)

Dear Friends and Supporters,

 I hope you have been well and excited to enjoy this holiday season!

Thank you so much again for your generous support which has made our last season inaugural concert a highly successful one, followed by several nice concerts toward the end of the season!

For those who donated earlier this year at Kickstarter campaign, please let us know if you need a tax letter. We are glad to prepare it upon your request.

<NYFO's 2015-2016 Season Inaugural Concert>

<Year-End Giving and New Membership Program>

As we prepare for our new season concerts, we also welcome your thoughtful donations via NYFO website as well as encourage you to join our patronage program to support our 2015-2016 season! URL:

While ticket sales only counts 25 - 30 % of total operating budget, your generous individual/corporate donations are truly essential for us to maintain our successful artistic activities.

Currently, we have set an immediate goal of $2,500 by December 25 for the Year-End Giving Campaign as well as $7,500 toward next spring in order to support our special concert, "3.11" 5th Memorial Concert in aid of earthquake and tsunami in North-eastern part of Japan in 2011.

NYFO will pursue our Mission Statement to share the "GOODWILL" among many countries in the world with such special concerts under planning in 2016 as below:

<March, 2016>

We are planning to perform a memorial program including "Ave Maria" Selection, Barber's Adagio for Strings and an award-winning American composer/organist, Hampson Sisler's (at age 83) piece, "Japan Tragedy 2011", which was dedicated to the orphans of this disastrous earthquake and tsunami. (A Japanese children's choir lost their families during their U. S. tour in March, 2011.) Mr. Sisler will perform as a guest organist in our upcoming concert on December 18, 2015!

<September, 2016>

Next Fall, NYFO is planning to present the "9.11" 15th Memorial Concert, "ODE to JOY for WORLD PEACE" with Beethoven's monumental Symphony No, 9, which we made a sensational Carnegie Hall debut in 2013, as well as the legendary Spanish (Catalan) cellist, conductor, composer and peace activist, Pablo Casals' "HYMN TO THE UNITED NATIONS"*.

*The work was commissioned by the U.N. Secretary-General U Thant, to mark the 25th anniversary of the U.N. in 1971. The text was written by W.H. Auden, then regarded as the greatest living English poet, and set to music by Pablo Casals, who was presented the "U. N. Peace Medal" upon its world premiere in the General Assembly of the U. N. Headquarters in New York City.

We hope you will join us to enhance the "GOODWILL" which is absolutely essential for mutual "FRIENDSHIPS" and "WORLD PEACE" via music, which we strongly believe as the world's best "CULTURAL AMBASSADOR" to make human lives ever better.

In appreciation of your generous support, NYFO would like to offer various rewards such as a FREE pair of complimentary tickets or a special gift to you.

If you are not able to attend the concert this Friday December 18 at 7pm (NYC), please spread your words to your friends living near New York or any part of the world to unite our "GOODWILL" to make a difference for our ever better and peaceful world!
