Slavic Fantasy Miniatures by Deraj Studios (Canceled)
Deraj Studios is starting a line of 32mm scale high-quality resin miniatures based from Slavic folklore.
Deraj Studios is a new tabletop gaming company producing a unique line of 32mm scale fantasy miniatures inspired by slavic folklore.
These miniatures are being cast in the highest quality resin, and are expected to be delivered in March of 2016.
So far with this particular line our sculptors have included Kamil Smok Milaniuk, Przemysław Szymczyk and Patrick Keith, whose iconic style has been proven many times including throughout his own line for Counterblast. As shown in the images below, our sculptors are able to create miniatures incredibly close to the original concept art.

To add any of these to your pledge simply add the amount listed under the image for the miniature you are adding. We'll sort out which miniatures your adding on to your pledge with the extra amount you pledged post-campaign with a survey.
Each miniature comes with a 30mm round-lipped base.
Below is a scale comparison shot of our miniatures lined up with some miniatures from other companies:
We don't skimp on the quality of our miniatures. Most other resin figures will have a thin layer of a material used to more easily separate resin from their molds. What that means is that you either have to spend valuable hobby time soaking the minis in soapy water and then scrubbing them with a brush before applying paint, or risk the paint not fully applying to the miniature due to the releasing material.
We at Deraj Studios are committed to you receiving the highest quality resin miniatures and have done this step for you. Each resin miniature you receive from us is not only cast in the highest quality, but they are also arrive to you ready to assemble and paint.
Here's some photos of what you get when you open up your package of resin miniatures delivered to you from Deraj Studios:

Thank you for your support!
I appreciate each and every one of you.
Risks and challenges
The risks and challenges that I'm facing with this project are:
Delayed artist completion of commissions. A lot of the sculptors that I work with, myself included, have extremely packed commission schedules and sometimes projects go past their deadline by several weeks.
How this is being addressed: I've already gotten every model involved in the base project either finished or commissioned to be completed by late April of this year, and I'll be scheduling with artists the stretch goal miniatures as we break through them.
I'll be shipping to and from France. This could potentially cause delays in shipping.
How this is being addressed: I'll be using the fastest (and heavily insured) international shipping options in an attempt to avoid delays in shipping.
The company that I'm working with to cast miniatures I've already done work with, so I can say that as far as quality of casts we'll be delivering incredibly high quality resin miniatures to you.
In addition to this I've added a few extra months to the time that I expect to be able to deliver these miniatures to you, in order to give a slight 'buffer zone' to calculate for any unforeseen delays.
If an unexpected amount of stretch goals are reached to the point where it will greatly impact how soon I'll be able to deliver these miniatures to you (with sculpting new miniatures from stretch goals, etc.) I'll be sure to let you know of this with the new delivery estimate in the updates if and when this occurs.
I will do my best to get them to you as soon as possible and I will be posting updates on the project every other Thursday after the project is funded and as the miniatures are completed and cast into resin.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
