WE HIT OUR INITIAL GOAL OF $21,000!
BUT THERE'S STILL POST-PRODUCTION!
As Steven Spielberg admits,"sound is 50% of every movie I make!"
This is why we need you to continue to donate over our LAST (5) DAYS. As you can see from our attached music department of Dave Holden (Transformers, Salt), we need as much "additional" funding as we can get. Please don't stop giving.

LET'S GET TO $25,000!
The Program is a top secret, military funded weapons experiment designed to create the perfect soldier.
Derek, or as The Program refers to him, SSR7, is the ultimate human weapon; half man-half metal. He wakes up in what appears to be his home from before he joined The Program. Confronted by Dark Derek, a seeming mirror image of himself, Derek begins to discover the hidden details of his former life and The Program's true objective.
This information is time-sensitive, however, as The Program has been watching his every move and decides to terminate him.
To recover the memories they erased and the family he loved, Derek targets the very program that transformed him into SSR7.
THE FILMMAKERS STATEMENT
With our film, tentatively entitled "THE PROGRAM", we as filmmakers seek to bring an action, sci-fi genre film, that even though loaded with CGI, stunts, and special effects, centers on THE STORY; a hero bound to recover what he's lost.
Our premise is simple – How far would you go to retrieve the ones taken from you? What if a weapon, a machine, fights for love instead of war? Our hope is that this film creates not only a visually stunning world and foretelling of the possible future, but strikes at the heart of family, and what's actually worth fighting for.
MARKETING AND DISTRIBUTION
-- Our primary goal for this film is for it to be used as a marketing tool to get the filmmakers access and recognition at all the top movie studios and production companies.
-- We also endeavor to utilize the online avenues and arenas to get the film across as many platforms as possible. Because of its short duration, we feel it would be perfect material for today’s booming New Media market– YOUTUBE and HULU and VIMEO.
- RYAN HUNTER PHILLIPS - DIRECTOR
Ryan Hunter Phillips is an AICP Award-nominated commercial and narrative director based in Los Angeles. Originally from Washington, he grew up on a healthy helping of comic books, classic literature, and movies. A diverse path that included graffiti, illustration, writing, being the frontman for a rock band in Seattle, and a B.A. in Comparative Literature culminated in directing his first short film. After that, he was bit by the "movie making" bug and never looked back.
Working in marketing through his Masters in film school introduced him to advertising, where Ryan refined his visual storytelling skills. His first spec commercial was nominated by the Association of Independent Commercial Producers and was followed by work for brands like Intel, Got Milk? and Nespresso. Inspired by the new frontier of online and interactive media, Ryan wrote and directed HUNCH. This innovative mystery prompts the viewer every few minutes to choose which direction the story goes in order to catch the killer.
When Ryan read the concept The Program, it was love at first sight. His passion for dark science fiction, action, and intrigue made Nathan Reid's script a perfect fit. He's excited to bring a sleek directorial style to a story that will captivate and entertain audiences.
A NOTE from Nathan Reid. "I was absolutely floored to be referred to Ryan Hunter Phillips by my great friend and composer, Dave Holden (Transformers, Salt). His spot "HUD" is one of the best I've seen and truly gave me 110% confidence that he will blow us away with his work on this film.

Risks and challenges
As with any other project, setbacks can occur. However, with over 10 years of experience in filmmaking I (Nathan Reid) have personally handled everything from bringing in better editors for faster post-production work, gathered additional funds for experienced sound designers and visual effects supervisors, and connected myself with those individuals, known as problem solvers.
I talk about responsibility quite often and my motto is simple, "Don't put on someone else's shoulders what you can take responsibility for personally". I have no doubt that issues will arise; however, I know that my team, and those industry professionals I'm connected to, can fully tackle and adequately handle anything that presents itself.
This project will get done, and I will make sure that nothing short of excellence is the result.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
