PREY: THE LIGHT IN THE DARK

With the enemy assembling superheroes for hire with equally devastating powers, it is up to The Outliers to band together everyone they can who is on their side. With one of the strongest members Katya, being captured, it is up to Doc, Radium, and Wade to figure out how to work together to stand a chance against their opposition.
Wilder/Radium, a loner, cut off from the world, is dealing with the ramifications of hurting innocent human lives with the extent of his powers. Harnessing energy from the sun, Radium's concentrated blast became unstable, leading to the death's of innocent civilians.
Katya, the spirited leader and brains of the group, kills anything she comes into human contact with. She and Radium have a complicated history making their decision to work together, even more strained.
Wade can kinetically connect to any metallic object and teleport it as she wishes. Though her demeanor is kind, and helpful, I wouldn't dare cross her if she all of a sudden decided that a tank should be where your house is.
Doc, a wise mentor of this would-be team, focuses on helping each individual member harness their capabilities. A designer, and craftsmen, Doc also works on Radium's suit construction.
Agent Stark, though not a member of The Outlier team, her mission is to assemble these powerful superheroes to defend the Earth against The Orsa; a powerful group that feels that Earth got it's chance; and now it's done.
These are the Outliers. Can they get along with each other? That remains to be seen. Hopefully they can figure it out in time to save the world.
The entire Outlier cast and production team have some big plans for the series. This is why we wanted to show you the first half of episode one; to give our backers confidence in our ability to deliver on quality. For us, now that part of episode one is complete, it's up to our friends, family, fans, basically everyone we know, to make episode one, two, and BEYOND possible.
Every single person on board knows that if not for the massive favors, and extra hours put in to each episode, that each would run around $10,000 at the very minimum. The minimal $3,500 ask, (minus Kickstarters 10%, $300 take), is only possible because of the passion behind this project.

Special CAR cameo. You read that right. We've already had a $100,000 vehicle donated for Episode 1 for us to use. Once again, making it possible for us to have that WOW factor.
We are confident however, that with this small amount of money, we can make one hell of an impressive sci-fi/comic web series episode.
But it is our hope that we fund more than just this one episode of a webseries with this campaign. We need at least five-six episodes to tell this amazing story, this first mini-season. Because of that, we've got our sights set on some stretch goals as well.

We thank you for your time.
We thank you for your support.
We thank you for your donations, big or small.
We thank you for posting, sharing, emailing, and spreading the word. Spreading the word helps us immensely, and if you could just do us the small favor of posting about us on Facebook, tweeting about us on twitter, doing a video on Youtube about us, Blogging about us, Contacting your favorite website on our behalf, emailing your friends - whatever you can do - it would mean everything to us.
Above all, we hope to thank you by showing you an incredible product in a few months.

To help us reach our Stretch Goals we're going to be releasing some amazing items in the rewards sections. The first, set to be released at the opening of the Kickstarter is (1 of 2) signed cd's by Tony Winner Jessie Mueller from Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. See the $175 reward. Very limited and very rare.

The second, and a prized possession indeed. These 14 inches tall, (1 of 1) designed Contra figures. These were hand designed by Francis Gray who hit internet fame at the Alien vs Predator chess set. He sold me the chess set and we became friends ever since. I then commissioned him to make these figures and in order to help us fund additional episodes, I am parting with these amazing figures. Everything is original on these figures all the way down to the gun design. If you're over 30 years old, you played this game. Now add these figures to your collection. (Reward at $700)
Risks and challenges
There are always risks and challenges when making a film. These include unforeseen delays, actor cancellations and rescheduling, weather, location availability, equipment issues etc. However, we have a professional and experienced crew who have faced these challenges before. While we can never predict what the future holds, we are a uniquely skilled team to tackle whatever comes our way. It is our absolute mission to deliver a completed project to the very backers that made this possible.
