"What is a journey? Is it just distance traveled? Time spent? No, it's what happens on the way. It's the things that shape you. At the end of the journey, you're not the same." - Mayor Richard Wilkins III (From Graduation Day: Part II)
The short film Slipaway is our senior thesis film to complete our BFA's in Film & New Media production at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. It's a project that will culminate a journey that began when we first took an interest in film all those years ago and it sums up not just everything we have learned, but everything that we love about the cinema.
Slipaway is a dream project for us, and we cannot wait until we're able to put it into production. It's a movie that will resonate deeply with its audience and that will push us as filmmakers to our creative and technical limit. A limit which we know we can reach with your support.
How You Can Help:
Compared to many student productions, Slipaway is an ambitious project. It requires shooting at several remote locations around Nebraska and as such we need the necessary funds to transport and feed the cast and crew. This is in addition to all the other usual production expenditures such as props, costumes, equipment rental and so forth.
Thank you so much for your support.
Have a question? If the info above doesn't help, you can ask the project creator directly.
