Hi everyone, thanks for looking at this.
We are C&C, Cory and Cody, of Ampersand Productions.
We are trying to make a full 2 act musical about Gamers and the worlds that they can get sucked into...literally.
No, seriously, we have our characters being sucked into a Tabletop RPG.
A little about us before we go into the story.
Cody and I, as well as most of the cast, are all members of the National Award Winning UAFS Theater Department, that specializes in performing original works of Theater.
Cody has been performing original theatrical shows under Ampersand Productions for a number of years now. Cory has written an original one act that has been performed a few times throughout the states.
The Story of D20 is about a group of Tabletop Gamers, who when trying a new game, get pulled into it, assuming the characters that they play. The only hope of escape is to defeat the Great Battle Mage Lorem. They only have their party of players to help them. Can they still support each other in this new world of magic and mystery?
We're asking you for help, because we are currently writing the musical, and we need the money to help us buy materials for costumes, set pieces, props, and all sorts of things you need for a theatrical production.
We are hoping to premiere the show at Konsplosion! an anime/gaming convention in Fort Smith, AR. From the time of this writing we have approx. 6 months until we premiere the show.
Cody and I have been working on this intensely since January, and would very much like to be proud of our work by making it look nice.
We will keep this page updated with where we are in the creative process.

Risks and challenges
Our risks include actors and their reliability to continue with the project. Also, we might start getting short on time, considering that this project is still being written as we start this Kickstarter. We are currently working on the script and music, and have gotten a few songs done. We are actually making pretty good time on the project.
We are working hard to get the script and music/lyrics complete as early as possible. We will perform the show in September, regardless of if we finish 100% of the planned music.
The issues we will encounter will be the manufacturing of the costumes/props etc. As well as the rewards. We have several people standing by to help make everything, but we are short staffed. There might be delays, but we will get your rewards to you, as well as the show. For it must go on, right?Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
