BOx is a SMART bottle opener both in terms of DESIGN & FUNCTIONALITY.

BOx supports safe drinking behaviors. Our app will keep you updated how many bottles you opened during a period of time, remember most importantly Never Drink and Drive !
After a great success last week we are very excited to share with you our stretched goal. Help us reach 30.000 Fr so we can add to our app the B-PLACE . A Geo-location feature, great for any bar owner, event organizer or just a couple of friends trying to host the hottest party in town.

We handmade BOx from the finest materials: SOLID WOOD & STAINLESS STEEL. The ergonomic design and refined finish give the smoothest experience when opening your bottle!

The BOx app will sync your opener to the internet which will unlock the limitless features of your device. The BOx app will be available on both iOS and Android stores.

BOx SOCIAL
Simply select your group of friends from your favourite chat platform. The next time you open a bottle, BOx will send our special “Smart Cheers” algorithm, wherever they are, regardless of distance from a good cold beverage. The “Smart Cheers” algorithm uses time, location, frequency, and other factors blended in with our own special sauce to keep your selected friends updated wherever they are!
We are currently developing these sharing features over Slack and Facebook Messenger.
SHARING NOTIFICATIONs:
By default every time a message is sent out you will receive a notification for you to give it a final OK and make sure the sharing is under your control , unless you feeling adventurous then you can set the automatic mode on ;)
BOx LEADERBOARD AND SAFE DRINKING
The BOx app keeps track of the bottles you've opened. You'll get rated and ranked alongside your friends!
But this is only the beginning for the BOx app. We will add safe drinking behavior features that you can activate. They will help you remember how many bottles you opened during a period of time, and most importantly Never Drink and Drive !

The current BOx design is the culmination of 18 months, 6 prototypes, countless tests and trials, TENS of broken bottles, 3 white nights, and 2 injured fingers.
We believe we've finally hit the pinacle of design and implementation with the current iteration of the BOx. Our fingers agree. That being said, we are committed to continual iteration and improvement. Perfection comes at a cost, and we aim for nothing less!
BOx is a personal matter to us, Although we're spread over 3 continents, It saved a friendship. For anyone who has a close friend traveling or family living in a different state or country, One of the best moment is receiving a spontaneous message from the person you care for, This is the essence of BOx . Our marketing and beer guru, aims to make all our friends connect over beer! He has spent the past 10 years at Nestle making sure the rare blue-spotted hare has heard of Nestlé's latest cold hot chocolate!
MINH
The Architect, as he's known, is passionate about designing great buildings. He brings the "Swiss perfection" to the design of the BOx. With over 20 years of experience in designing buildings, Minh dreams of winning the prestigious and coveted Most-Leaning-Tower-That-Has-Not-Yet-Fallen award. He faces stiff competition.
Risiken und Herausforderungen
As with any new product, there is always the risk of parts
malfunctioning. We've been fine-tuning our design over the past 18
months to minimize this, and are confident that the current iteration
of the BOx should be completely problem-free.
We are working with well-established suppliers and are implementing
several phases of quality assurance and testing to make sure the quality of the BOx cannot be questioned!
The BOx App will undergo constant iterations and improvements. The User
Interface is currently undergoing testing, we plan on adding
other social features, and our SMART algorithms will be growing
with us and evolving to remain fresh and exciting!
We are very confident in our ability to deliver the best smart bottle
opener. We came to kickstarter because we need help in making our vision a reality. We need you to talk to us! Tell us what you like, what you

Of course! We're also launching a Kickstarter exclusive without the Smart board. Please select the pledge reward titled "BOx light no WiFi".

This pledge is for the BOx without the smart board, for people who like the design and want to support us, but don't want to use the smart WiFi functionality.

That's not how we drink! The whole idea behind BOx is about sharing with friends. You choose which friends you want to share with, over the supported chat platforms that you prefer. We integrate with chat platforms so you can always continue the chat using their own
clients/messages as well! -
Any bottle that can be opened by a regular bottle opener can be opened by BOx. Unlike regular bottle openers though, with BOx you can open your beer/water/soft drink bottle using only one hand :)

Out motto is DRINK AND SHARE WITH CARE. It even rhymes, see. We designed the leaderboard to make opening bottles (and yes, drinking them) a more fun experience. But we certainly don't promote unhealthy practices. We are working on implementing a "safe" feature, that you can toggle through the BOx App, that will notify you whenever you open too many
bottles in a short period of time! Stay safe, beeraholics!
