This is the forth in my Dorset button instruction book series. This one is inspired by beads and has a mix of project which include beads as well as projects which are beaded Dorset buttons.
The book contains is a help section, button patterns and 10 projects. Some of the projects are aimed at using up your stash of Dorset buttons. Each project has clear written instructions, fully supported by photographs of each stage. Projects include a necklace, wall hanging, bunch of flowers, peacock brooch, cobweb hanging, mobile, decorated box, sunflower button and button tinsel. There are also patterns for crosswheel, daisy chain, heart shaped and yarrell buttons.
The book is nearly finished and is being proof read and tested at the moment. We're raising funds for print copies of the book. Our printer is local to us and produces our range at the moment. We love the quality of their books and are happy for them to print this next one. This one will be spiral bound like our others as we find they are easier to work from.
Risks and challenges
As the book is nearly finished and we have a tried and tested printer the risks for this project are minimal. The materials will be sourced closer to the time but shouldn't be a problem as we have regular suppliers for rings, beads and threads.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
