Thank you for allowing me to help honor Moms. She was something special. She came to Atlantic City, hung out at "KY & the Curb" as Kentucky Avenue was called. Club Harlem, Grace's Little Belmont, Wonder Gardens, she hit the clubs & we, as young kids, were thrilled to see our stars in the flesh. You did a fabulous job of capturing her essence. Thanks again. I loved doing that..

      Hi Tom and Whoopi,

Just wanted to tell you how much Grant and I enjoyed speaking with you last Wednesday. I'm following up about Grant asking to meet you Whoopi. My daughter is expecting in October but other than that, any time or any place that works for you, I will get him there. I know you are incredibly busy, so we would work around your schedule. Thank you, Paulette & Grant Logsdon

Hi Whoopi! As a teen I tried to hide Mom's tapes in my basement from my parents. Got in lots of trouble over 2 of the only 3 jokes I still remember at 70: 1) two old ladies walking down the street, and 2), the old woman trying to kill herself following her doctor's orders. Lots of trouble over those two. :) Also remember visiting White Plains NY and seeing the sign on Mom's door: "No squares allowed!" Best of luck in this venture. Hope I get to see the final piece. Love your integrity and, of course, your humor. Blessings. Satia

So glad this is happening, Whoopi. Glad to have helped you. Moms used to make me laugh so hard when I saw her on "The Ed Sukkivan Show" She truly paved the way. I know with you at the helm this is gonna be a great film.
