Please provide prescription information and other requirements such as frame color, size, etc on our Customer Service Portal website after the campaign ends.
1. For single vision prescriptions, we can ship the glasses with prescription lenses pre-installed (with extra charge, amount varies depends on the brand, material, and coating of the lenses).
2. For multi-vision prescriptions such as bifocals, trifocals, etc., we won’t provide the prescription lenses. Instead, we recommend that you bring Norm Glasses to a local optometrist to fulfill the prescription and install lenses.Last updated:

There is a contact-based connector with 4 pins, secured by a magnet, located behind the ear on the right temple. The other end of the charging cable is standard USB. If connected to a computer using the charging cable, data in Norm Glasses can be accessed from the computer as if it was in USB drive.Last updated:
It will last one to two days in normal usage (system go sleep when not in use), or 4 to 5 hours if the display is on continuously.Last updated:

The files are stored in the Glasses, you can take pictures or record videos without a phone. Media files in the Norm Glasses can be accessed from the phone companion app, or from a computer(through charging cable).Last updated:
Short answer: a few hours to unlimited (if streaming to cloud and with external power).
The video recording time depends on following factors:
During video recording, camera, CPU, and storage are running in full speed, and the display is on as well, thus it consumes more power, the battery can last for 2 hours (instead of the 4 to 5 hours when display is on but without video recording). Norm Glasses can operate normally during charging; so if you need to record longer, may consider using a power bank or external power.
2. available storage space.
Norm Glasses come with 8GB storage space. Excluding operating system and apps, available space for media is about 2 GB.
3. resolution for video recording
HD-quality video uses about 0.9GB (720p), 1.5GB (1080p). With 2GB space, you can get 1 hour 1080p video, or 2 hours 720p video.Last updated:
Yes, there is a Gallery app in the Norm Glasses, from where you can see all the pictures and play videos.Last updated:
Norm calculates “privacy distance”, which means that people further away cannot hear the sounds from the Glasses. The calculation is based on sound attenuation over distance, speaker volume, and ambient noise level. Users can verify and adjust/calibrate the privacy distance calculation. The speaker volume can be set based on preferred privacy distance.
Sounds from the speakers are directed to the ear. With normal hearing, the user can hear clearly from the glasses with a privacy setting of 1.5 feet.Last updated:
We started with Bone conduction initially, then changed to cartilage conduction behind the ear, finally landed with open-ear sound design. We noticed that Bose chose open-ear without bone conduction as well on their glasses; the decisions on our side and on their side were made independently when we learned that they did the same as us, Norm Glasses already won the CES Innovation Award.
Here are the reasons why we didn’t choose bone conduction:
1. Sound quality is poor
2. Sound leakage isn't an advantage as it seemed to be
3. Odd feelings on cheekbone
4. If stick with the natural-looking glasses form factor, the two bone conduction transducers may fit perfect for some people but won’t fit well for other people. If they don't fit well, the sound tends to be very weak or inaudible.Last updated:
