So I'm back at Half Ton Studios once again and working on a little solo album with the working title 'Pyschopaths Dream in Black and White'. It's been a while since I wrote the original material that ended up on the British IBM album. Over two years in fact. I've since written a shed load of new songs that are in various states of completion on my iPhone's voice recorder and scribbled on bits of paper all over my house and I'm now starting to do something with them.
Some of the new stuff will ultimately end up on the "elusive second album" but in the interim I'm working on some of the other material. Here's a little demo of one of the tracks I'll be working on called 'All The Time'.
I've set the monetary goal for this quite low as I'll most probably put it out in some form or another regardless. But this gives anyone that might be interested an opportunity to pre-order and it also gives me a deadline. I always work better when I have a deadline and a bit of pressure.
Although saying that, every little bit helps and any money gained from this will help me chip away at studio costs, pressing CDs and all that stuff. If things go mental and I end up with loads of wedge then I'll make a very cool music video for the first single and/or look into pressing vinyl.
Chip in a few quid and feed my ego!
Risks and challenges
There are no risks for you, I will make this album and I will send you anything you order. My track record is excellent, just ask anyone that's ordered or pre-ordered any of the British IBM stuff.
There are little in the way of challenges and risks for me either, I'm actually pretty good at making indie rock.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
