Bits and Bytes...
Only a few days left, and we're well above the minimum funding goal and within $45 of the first stretch goal at $8000. I can't wait to get on with the business of actually making the rewards for all the backers!
This morning I tried to see if I could find a better way of presenting the list of modules, and unfortunately, short of another full Rheingold Heavy site redesign (that wouldn't necessarily wind up being better in the end), what is up looks like the best I can do: sections in the left sidebar, latest published modules on the right.
I did create a new section of modules called "Bits and Bytes", because the amount of modules associated with that was starting to overload the Shift Register content a bit, and I think it's more general in nature than that. I had thought I'd be well into writing modules about coding for the shift register by now, but as I got more deeply into the topic, I realized additional prerequisite material would be useful, which is why all the number system conversion and bitwise / boolean operator content was created.
On the hardware development side, I suspect most of the staff of Small Batch Assembly and OSHPark to return from their various Thanksgiving vacations on Monday, so I hope to have news next week of the production timeline.
As always, go ahead and send me any questions, comments or suggestions you have!
