I pledged for a size 45 ages ago - the ETA on them keep being punted further and further back. My request last year for a refund was ignored. I've backed a good 2 dozen KS (and Indiegogos) this is my only deadbeat campaign where I've little hope I'll receive anything.

    4. Greg Krupa on December 10, 2014

When will I receive my order? I have been waiting over two years now. This is absurd. Please write me immediately.

Please sent the shoes I ordered to address I provided recently.

      Hi all,
I ordered a size 44 (normally I buy size 45) as it was said they were large.
Considering the delay they recommended to try a size 43 (with exchange possibilities) and it arrived today.
They fit PERFECTLY, it is really amazing. I can't imagine fitting in a 44 nor a 45...

Thanks to the whole team working behind this. The delay was really long but it was worth it. I hope your adventure will continue and that I would be able to buy new insoles in a shop next time ;)
      Thanks again!

      Dear all,
You can confirm your address by email :
Sizes 44 and 45 should be available in a few more months, by beg of 2015 we hope. We face some technical issues for their development.
Since Iguaneye do run a bit large, we highly recommend you try a size 43 because there are many chances it would be ok. Thanks to all of you !

Just received my shoes, initial assessment is that these are as described, fit well, and I think I will enjoy them quite alot! :) I understand the delay issues, my only constructive criticism is with regard to infrequent feedback. Olivier, I think you have a great product here and I hope it has been and continues to be well-received!

      Hello !
Most of you now have received their pairs.
If you are still waiting for them, something may be wrong with the shipping.
Please contact us by private message if you still haven't received your freshoes.

Also, please make sure you've fully confirmed your shipping address as no parcel had been sent without this confirmation. Since it's been a long time, some of you have moved so no parcel will be sent without a proper confirmation.

We kindly remind that sizes 44 and 45 are still not available for the moment. For the backers who selected T44 or 45 as a reward, we confirm you can select another size. It can be a gift for one of your relatives for instance. If so, send us your request at with all the details and shipment will be immediately organized.

Thanks for the kind messages we receive.

      Best regards.

My size 43s finally arrived today and they're too big. Is it possible to send them back and a pair of 42s?

    14. theo on August 18, 2014

guys, a question about the fit. the fit is like a glove. there is no room or play behind my heel. the big toe is poking the latex at the front. the strange thing is that this is not uncomfortable due to the nature of the latex or the rubber outer shoe, it's very forgiving and flexible and so the poking of my big toe right at the front there is not a painful experience unlike a regular shoe since leather or even synthetic material would rub against your toe.

so i guess i have the right fit, right? i think a size up would have my heel slipping out of the shoe. any comments of others about their fit?

I can't edit my post, I just wanted to add that I never heard back about verifying my address. These just happened to show up, so they must have already been in the mail. They did come from France and my package was torn open so I suspect they got held up in customs.

My shoes just arrived today in Florida size 43, I swear I ordered a 42 but these fit perfectly.

Initial impressions: they look a bit cheaper compared to Kickstarter pictures but still pretty nice. The material is a grippy (like a silicon type feel), this isn't a bad thing. Insole is hard (no cushion) but very pliant. They cling well to feet, but I feel as though my outermost toes are going to pop out when walking. Vigerous motion has proven that they won't come off despite feeling that way. I knew these weren't zero drop, but the heel is taller than I expected.

Overall, they're pretty comfortable and I don't regret backing this project and would most likely buy again at retail. Again, this is just my initial impressions and time will tell if they live up to these impressions and my expectations.

I'm concerned at the moment, since I've moved house since the project funded and haven't gotten any response regarding the address change messages I've sent. I'm really looking forward to having these shoes in hand, but if they're sent to the wrong address I don't know if I'll ever see them

    33. Christopher White on April 20, 2014

Oh they sent a discreet email so as to hide their shameful way of going about business. They of course offered the option for us to pick a smaller shoe size, which in itself confuses me why on earth would someone want to accept something that they cannot even wear. Great i bought a wonderful paper weight. I want my money back with that i can at the very least invest in a pair of flip flops that i don't have to wait for over a year for footwear.

Merci pour ces updates, je suis très content de constater que tu n'a pas perdu de ta motivation !
Je vais patiemment attendre mon 44, et te souhaite ainsi qu'à toute l'équipe Iguaneye bonne continuation !

i am not mad anymore, what is the point? the end is in sight, that is all i care about for now. we cannot blame iguaneye for problems that arise during production. unpreventable ones. i do not believe in spreading negative comments throughout the internet. bad karma.

here is to a better and a more productive year for this company. i am looking so much forward in wearing my shoes this summer and if they are good i will be ordering more.

i think that i, and others who have waited along with me, should get an extra pair for all the waiting.

    38. Mary Couse on February 8, 2014

While I too would very much like to see my shoes - and soon - to be fair it's not been two years as Christopher White stated in his message below. The project was funded Dec 14 2012 and the shoes were due in April 2013, so it's been over one year since funding but less than one year from the projected fulfillment date.
That said, I've yet to see an explanation that includes information on why it's taking so long to address the production problems. I understand problems to arise, but if my suspicion of what may be behind the delay is accurate, I would encourage Olivier to just tell us the full story. People are far more understanding when they have all the facts.
I continue to hope for a positive outcome, as I believe Olivier is really trying to make this a success.

    39. Christopher White on February 5, 2014

This has gone well beyond reasonable. Your business is very poorly run and one can only imagine the quality of product that i have not received in 2 years. Very poor customer service, poor reaction to the people that went out on a leap of faith for a product we have never even seen. You are in a position based on your response to keep our faith or simply add another useless update with filler material that actually tells us nothing. Even your finished 42 mold has no expecting date. Half truths and less information is still lying to us. I'm not waiting for you to offer me a date i'm giving you one (2 months for my shoe) and if you can't adhere to that then fine i will take my money back and write this off as some funny story i will tell me friends about your ineptitude. I understand that unknown things can happen but its your business and you've made no attempt to hold you accountable.

    40. IGUANEYE Creator on February 3, 2014

      Hello everyone,
Mold for size 42 is now totally done (set up, chemical texturing...) Now the work for sizes 40, 41 and 43 can begin (sizes 44 and 45 will come after). We are still doing everything we can to achieve the goal : freshoes for everyone as soon as possible.
      Best regards.

I would like a refund. Two years is more than enough time to carry out such a straight forward business model. I won't be living in my current address when you claim the shoes will be shipped (april), as I will be moving around that time further south. Please advise how I can receive a reimbursement. This is called kickstarter, not putzstarter. You have to follow through within a reasonable timeframe.

    44. joel on December 4, 2013

      Salut Olivier,

    45. theo on December 4, 2013

i really want the shoes, no refunds for me. but again, olivier need to somehow make it up to those loyal kickstarter backers who believed in your project from the beginning, those who shared in your dreams. i believe in miracles................
