About this project
Starting with a letter allegedly written by Eazy called "Eazy's last words" that was read at a press conference held in front of the hospital where he later passed away, a secret deathbed marriage and a multi million dollar estate at the center of ownership battles, are the openers to this investigative and compelling documentary series! An under scrutiny look revealing the most personal and intimate moments of the life and death of Eric Wright, the days of Ruthless Records, and the scandalous aftermath of Eazy's untimely demise. Through the narrative of Eazy's very intellectually poised daughter Ebie, she is going to take you back 21 years on an emotionally intense journey addressing lies, rumors and inconsistencies of her father’s unusual and untimely death through Intense probing in face to face interviews with the most crucial people who were around Eazy throughout the years. People who conspired and flocked around Eazy during his last months with ulterior motives will be blasted. Using years of probate court documents (The Estate of Eric Wright) along with guidance from her mother Tracy Jernagin who fought in court, exclusive and private information that the public never knew will finally be told through Ebie. Details of what was happening each day leading up to him supposedly succumbing to Aids will be revealed. From shocking facts and recollections from key people who were connected to the story and through dramatization you will get an inside look at Eazy’s last days. The FACTS are simply jaw dropping.
This story is heart felt and immensely captivating at the same time. Ebie’s gutsy personality stands up to any friend or foe and possibly even his conspirators despite whatever hurtful truths she might unexpectedly uncover in this real life Ruthless Scandal!

Tracy's Bio-
I’ve been a music industry manager for 23 years so I know the music business pretty well. The music industry is where I started with managing recording artist and music producers. I discovered and launched the careers of many producers who have made their mark and collectively have sold over fifty million records on artists like Eazy-E, Ja Rule, Ashanti, Beyonce, J-Lo and Lil Wayne just to name a few. As the years went by, I expanded into other aspects of the entertainment business like working in reality television, as I was involved in the production process of all of Ebie’s shows and specials that aired on MTV. Many of my closest friends are actors, film makers, directors, and record label executives so I have had the luxury of being able to pick the brains of many of them throughout the years on developing this project. A Ruthless Scandal has been my baby and I have watched it’s content and importance grow over the years. I can say that I have some amazing resources in Hollywood to get some talented and amazing directors and producers attached to this project, but we have to get a lot of the groundwork done ourselves first because “Hey, that’s just how it works in Hollywood”. People have been asking me for years why don’t I write a book or do a movie or documentary about my life with Eazy and all sorts of questions of that nature, but what most didn’t know is that it has been in the making all along. This project has been a nearly life’s mission of mine, as this started for me over 21 years ago but everyone has to understand that it is a process and it’s not as simple as it may seem from the outside looking in. But I will say that all of those people have definitely been my motivation and I appreciate all of the supporters and believers because this project will be the gateway to the greater good of Eazy’s legacy. I am writing a book where I can tell our “Personal” story of our life together and boy will it be interesting …but for now it’s all about A Ruthless Scandal: No More Lies!

Erica's Bio-
Hi, I’m Erica Wright and I am Eazy-E’s oldest daughter. Born and raised in Compton Ca., just like my father. I want to start off by saying that I have an 8 year old son who is my pride and joy and I pride myself on being an excellent parent to my only child. If you know nothing else about me, you should know that family is everything to me. After losing my father when I was just 9 years of age, I felt my life would never be the same. The hurt I felt throughout my entire childhood has never gotten any easier even once I had reached adulthood, as they say you just learn to live with it. So living with that hurt has been my drive and motivation to finding out just what really happened to my father. I have been dedicated to getting this Documentary project done for a long time. My role in my family has always been to be the glue that keeps everyone connected and unified as much as can be, but I have to be honest and say that there is definitely a lot of clashing of the minds when it comes to my father’s death circumstances. I’m on board as a producer of this project with my sister Ebie and her mother Tracy because I have been on the same journey throughout the years to uncover the truth behind my father’s death just as they have been. I can assure you that this project will objectively be developed, and no stone will go unturned no matter who you were to my father.

Stretch Goals...
If we exceed our minimum goal of $250,000 A Ruthless Scandal will be well on its way out of the pre production stage and into production.
$500,000 : We will be able to go further than just the traditional old school 90 minute Documentary Film and increase the production length to new school numbers which are more around 100-110 minutes. You will get many more interviews and hear more details of what people know... And trust us, you are going to want to hear it ALL with nothing left out! We would of course be able to increase the production value and enhance the documentary with an amazing score and soundtrack.
$1,000,000 : We will be able to increase the production length of our documentary to around 270 minutes which would be broken down into 1 hour episodes and making this Documentary a 6 part series. A series is what we truly want to do because of the many layers to this story, there is so much content that needs to be covered (or should I say uncovered) in order to get the whole story out. At this point we will cast for reenactment scenes and increase the production value and the score and soundtrack value.
$2,000,000 : If we were to hit our stretch goal of 2 million not only would our prayers have been answered but we would be able to produce our ultimate goal Documentary with 450 minutes of content which makes it a 10 part series! At this point we would be able to have our dream project and increase the overall Documentary value in Every aspect. This means top notch actors, more reenactments, more interviews, more expert analysis, more music, a killer cinematographer and post production team. At this point we are at a major studio level and ready for major distribution from one of our wish list distributors you saw in our campaign video above. Who's ready for a full Season of "A Ruthless Scandal:No More Lies"? We are.. But we need your help!! Keep in mind.. If things go the way we're thinking, more will unravel in this process that might even present us a Season 2!

Risks
Low risk because this project is going to happen one way or another! People want to know this story.. It's been requested, supported and anticipated by fans around the world for years and even more so after Straight Outta Compton the movie was released .. You got 2 hours and 27 minutes of NWA in the movie, and now it's time to hear Eazy's side of things.. Yes, his side through the people who loved him and know the truth!
We are confident that our project will get seen by the public as it's so HIGHLY anticipated that we've already received lots of interest about producing as well as distributing... I'd say major distribution is definitely in the near future for A Ruthless Scandal.
Challenges
TIMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Within the past 21 years, so many different stories about Eazy's death have been created.. people don't know who or what to believe when it comes to Eazy's legacy! Some stories that are wrong are so deeply embedded in people's minds that it's hard for them to CHANGE their perception of things unless they actually HEAR and SEE the grim reality of the cold hard facts. Eazy's daughters can no longer live with the misconceptions.
