UPDATE: WE NEED OVER $1500, SO IF WE'VE MADE $1000, KEEP PLEDGING!
Last year, we, Adam Lerman and Daniel Hartley, applied to Ars Nova, the well-known theater in New York, to be part of their music/comedy/theater festival known as ANTfest, with an idea that had yet to even be written. Well, we got in, and then we had to write it. So we did, and out popped "The Harmonious Pimps of Harmony's Last Show." We found ourselves with a great comedy about a shatteringly-famous music group breaking up amidst the drama of their final concert.
We've been blessed to bring onboard a team of extremely talented, well-known collaborators, and have put together what we think is a funny, exciting, fast-paced and colorful performance. Literally. There are a lot of colors in it.
Here's the favor: Theater, though earning nearly none, costs money to make. And we've asked a lot of our team. Between space rentals, props, materials, future plans for a tour, buying our own industry comp tickets, and frankly, the time and talent and energy spent by all involved, we need to raise some money, and fast.
We opened on October 29th, and had an AMAZING show. We sold out the house, packed the standing room, and the crowed loved us.
So, with your help, we can raise enough funds to pay off all these comp tickets, producer for buying the materials to build our props and print all these free t-shirts we've given away, and prepare to tour our show across America! Literally! We want to tour our show across America!
So please, give a little bit, or a LOT a bit, and thanks!
