Production Update: One area I wish I could’ve improved upon with the post-Kickstarter campaign is more communication. This will get better and I’ll explain how.
First, I want to update you on production. Because our manufacturer has a reputation for producing top quality products, they are in high demand. They understand our deadlines and have agreed to make GoPlug their top priority— thank goodness! Byron has been a huge asset to work with— thank you! From our conversations he has updated our project schedule, reflected in the project timeline below:
Also, we've always had a project schedule, it may not have been communicated as well as it could’ve been— again, something that will get better. This project timeline is an adjustment to the original plan, it’s just been updated now.
Side note: manufacturing times may actually end up being less than the estimated 30 and 45 days, respectively
Infrastructure/Customer Service: Most of my time and attention has been focused on producing your bags, but when time allows, I’m also taking the necessary steps to build a long-term infrastructure for GoPlug Bags. In doing so I have neglected something I believe is extremely important; customer service— I’m sorry. This new system should improve communication and improve customer service. Eventually GoPlug bags be in retail locations throughout the world. Because my focus needs to be on building a quality product, fielding calls/emails/inquiries is something I cannot do long-term (as demonstrated in the past 30 days). It’s necessary to hire someone who can do this for the company, you deserve to have your inquiries answered— and so, I’m hiring someone who will do this. Our customer service professional will be in place this week and I’ll send out another update to introduce this person. Rest assured, none of the money pledged on Kickstarter will be used to pay for this person. Side note: I have an accountant who is controlling all the funds.

Lastly, thank you for your continued support. I know some of you are less than happy; however, I assure you me, Byron, and the rest of the GoPlug team are dedicated to the product as well as making it the best product on the market for all your charging needs.
