The delay in shipping is taking longer than we were initially promised. Nothing would be more satisfying than shipping you the product; however, strict rules & regulations towards batteries are in place slowing down this process— We’ve been told these regulations have increased over the past two months because of Samsung’s battery issues.
We are as annoyed with all these unexpected details as you are, but this added safety check will ensure our products have been designed and built safe.
Since we were given this latest news, we decided to split the shipment into two parts (both parts have enough inventory to fulfill your pledges). Half of the products will be sent by boat to the US (it will take about a month to ship), and the other half remains in China while we wait for the air shipment paperwork to be approved. At this point, we have no idea which will happen first. We are hoping that your products will be on a plane very soon, but we have not been given a deadline. If it continues to drag on, the cargo should have arrived to the US by then. Whatever happens first will go to backers first.
The timing is uncertain and that is why we have been hesitant to post another update. We hate promising dates and then not being able to fulfill those timelines. We realize this is confusing and frustrating, but please know we are doing everything humanly possible to expedite this process. Your GoPlug items are coming… we won’t give up till they get here, so please don't give up on us.
