The Santa Clarita Master Chorale promotes fine choral music through an annual concert series, educational enrichment programs and involvement in community-based arts efforts. Under the direction of Allan Robert Petker, Artistic Director, the Chorale performs works selected from all periods of the choral repertoire. We are raising funds to add the voice of an orchestra to ours. Ticket sales alone cannot provide for the costs of the quality orchestra we desire to support the Chorale. $10 from you helps us buy 12 minutes of a violinist's time! $25 from you helps us buy a half hour of a cellist's time! You could fund the whole viola section for $600. Help us bring extraordinary music to our community!
Our 2017-2018 season will be our most exciting yet! In December 2017, the Chorale will celebrate the “Magnificat,” Mary’s celebration of the angel’s news that she will give birth to Jesus. In March 2018, the Chorale will “Let Our Spirits Soar” with composer Dan Forrest’s “Requiem for the Living.” It has become one of most compelling major works for choirs and orchestra in the last few years. Finally, in June 2018 “It’s All About the Music!” Bass, treble, and everything in between will be ringing from the stage, as the Chorale and our youth choirs celebrate the gift that keeps on giving - music itself, including a world premiere of a commissioned work by Kevin Memley. Our project is to raise orchestral funds for the 2017-2018 season so that we continue to fulfill our mission: to facilitate the appreciation, enjoyment and experience of fine choral music in the entire community. Your gift makes our gift possible! Thank you!
