In the year 304 A.D. St. Philomena, a Princess of Greece, was offered the world and all its riches as the Empress of Rome, but refused it for the love of her God. Emperor Diocletian, having banned Christianity making it punishable by death, sentenced her to brutal torture and to be killed before all of Rome, but death refused to claim her. Through the grace of God miracles of her healing continued to cause waves of conversion through the Roman people and soon the entire world, bringing a greater threat to the Empire than the Emperor could have ever imagined.
