6000 pounds of World on a String

Dear Backers:

I apologize for the delay in getting out the rewards. I really appreciate your patience. The App is in its final stages and I cannot wait to share it with you! It's really cool. Also, I am very excited to inform you that today we received almost 6,000 pounds of hard copies of World on a String. That's a lot of books and they are awesome!

Danny Popovici and I will be getting together very soon to get everything signed and illustrated and ready to go for shipping. We're working very hard and all rewards should be delivered before the end of April.

VERY IMPORTANT:

If you are in the $25 tier or higher, please confirm that the shipping information you previously provided is still accurate. If you need to make a change, just email your correct address to storytimeworks@gmail.com.

NetGalley Featured Review! ...and other things.

Net Galley Featured Review!

Amazingly, World on a String has been selected as this week's featured review on NetGalley Devours! NetGalley has over 100,000 professional reviewers and is partnered with over 200 publishers, including most of the major houses.

Here's the review: http://netgalley.tumblr.com/post/42843500591/netgalley-devours-world-on-a-string-by-larry

The reviewer, Lindsey Rudnickas, mentions our Kickstarter origins, which is a good reminder that none of this would have been possible without you awesome people. Thank you! Thank you!

...and other things.

The App is currently being scored by Justin Durban and should be available in a couple weeks. The concept art is almost complete and will be delivered with the App.

Printing is still on schedule and we should begin shipping books in late March.

Rewards Update and a Few Cool Things

Hello all you wonderful people!

I just want to provide you with a rewards update and let you know about a few cool things going on with us.

Rewards Update:

Digital Prints: Complete and Delivered! If you did not receive your images, please let me know by sending an email to storytimeworks@gmail.com.

eBook:  Complete! We are just in the process of converting the book into the different formats. We still estimate this reward to be delivered in December 2012.

App: We are still finalizing the video. Once that is complete, Justin Durban will need to prepare the score. We now estimate this reward to be delivered in January 2013.

Hardcover: The files have been sent to press. Our printer estimates that the hardcovers will be delivered to us in February 2013. Once we receive the hardcovers, we will work as diligently as possible to deliver them to you.

Other Rewards: Any rewards I did not mention, should be delivered by their respective estimated delivery dates. If there is any delay, I'll let you know.

A Few Cool Things:

Distribution: We've secured a national distribution contract, which will at least give us the opportunity to pitch World on a String to major retailers and libraries. This is very exciting for us.

School Visits: We've booked a couple school visits in Texas and we're in the process of booking more. We can't wait to see what the kids think!

Publication: World on a String will officially publish on June 4, 2013.

I hope each of you is doing exceedingly well.

Happy Holidays!!
