Awesome news to hear that the annotations are done! Do I have to create an account with MediaFire to access it though? The link in the message was just to their home page.

    2. Creator Wayne Adams on December 29, 2012

Just wanted to say I got the paperbacks, just in time for Christmas no less :).
Much appreciated, especially given the effort that must have gone into signing them all.

    3. Creator Robert Brockway on December 20, 2012

      ...exactly how I planned it!

    4. Creator John Drinkwater on December 20, 2012

Paperback copies arrived in the mail today, just in time for the end of the world. What a way to go in the comforting arms of Rx !!

    5. Creator Ted Cart on November 7, 2012

LOVED the ending. You did not fuck around, and it worked out awesome.

Super excited for the annotated addition, because I just know you'll explain that computers in our skin are only months away. Also, I need an excuse to read it again.

    6. Creator Robert Brockway on October 31, 2012

See the last project update. Delayed until (probably late) November.

    7. Creator Adam Drew on October 31, 2012

What's the status of the annotated edition?

    8. Creator Robert Brockway on June 2, 2012

Oh man, I don't know. I tried to buy that watch too, but was too late. If I knew where your magic watch was, I would steal it for myself and you would never catch me because I'd have a fucking MAGIC WATCH.

    9. Creator Luthor H. Bedlam on June 1, 2012

      Where's my watch? I pledged 11 dollars.
All I have received is a bit more of a book that went on and on about a penis dangling in liquid or something. Where is my $400 magic watch that I was looking at on the other Kickstarter page?
Don't you start using my drinking as an excuse. You're not my wife. I want my magic watch. In red, like I asked.

    10. Creator Adam Drew on June 1, 2012

OK, I figured it out. It looks like "updates" flag me with an email, but "messages" do not. Strange. Might be a settings problem.

      Thanks!

    11. Creator Robert Brockway on May 31, 2012

Yes, you absolutely should have gotten one -- two days ago, actually. There was one survey and one Kickstarter message, the message had the download links. I think the issue is arising if the email addresses you submit to the survey and to Kickstarter are different? I don't know, but if you didn't get it and it's not in your spam filter, please email rxthebook at gmail dot com and I'll send you a copy directly.

    12. Creator Adam Drew on May 31, 2012

So, I'm a $25 backer. Should I be expecting a download link for episode 2?

    13. Creator Robert Brockway on May 4, 2012

This month sometime! Hopefully sooner rather than later, but work has been pretty crazy lately.

    14. Creator Dylan Dasey on May 3, 2012

So when will Episode 2 be available. I'm kind of itching to get my hands on it. Itching I tell you!

    15. Creator Robert Brockway on April 22, 2012

      Bam!

      http://bit.ly/I2YjZd

Eat sketch you son of a bitch!

    16. Creator Robert Brockway on April 21, 2012

Oh, I'm sorry. Did somebody give you the impression that it was optional? Ha ha, no. You're getting your god damn sketch if I have to tattoo it on your screaming flesh. Thanks for pledgin'!

    17. Creator Mike Williams on April 20, 2012

Don't worry about it. I didn't donate that money for the prize anyway. You do a lot to keep me entertained and I was happy I could help out.

Plus I wanted to have something I could lord over you when I visit LA this fall.

    18. Creator Robert Brockway on April 20, 2012

Mike: Well crap! Why wait so long to speak up? I posted a few messages stating that I was done and to message me if I missed you. Nobody did, so I thought I got to everybody. I'll get on it this weekend.

    19. Creator Mike Williams on April 20, 2012

Okay Brockway, I'm in at the "Why In the Hell Would You Send $250 to Anything On the Internet" level, but I'm skeptical of the generous rewards. I sent you $100 during the Balls Campaign and I'm still waiting on my personalized sketch.

    20. Creator Robert Brockway on April 19, 2012

Inishi: No, but I will leave other stains.

    21. Creator Robert Brockway on April 19, 2012

Jim: Nope, sorry, the $5 is just for the collected edition -- all three episodes compiled at the end of summer. Though if that's a big deal to you, just shoot me an email at rxthebook at gmail dot com and we'll figure something out.

    22. Creator Adam Drew on April 17, 2012

Fuck it. Video game? I just upped my pledge to $25.

    23. Creator Inishi on April 17, 2012

Will you leave lipstick marks when you sign mine?

    24. Creator Jim Malo on April 17, 2012

      First off, big fan.
I have the same question as Henning, though it's regarding the $5 reward. Will I be getting the other two episodes when they come out too?

    25. Creator Matthew on April 17, 2012

Probably should've read the comments first... I just sent a message asking that same question... dammit! Ah well, I'll drop a quick email now then. Anyway, can't wait to read it. Love your stuff on Cracked, dude. Thanks for introducing me to Kickstarter!

    26. Creator Robert Brockway on April 13, 2012

Been mentioned in the comments a few times, but if you've pledged money but you don't have the first chapter yet, just shoot me an email at rxthebook at gmail dot com and I'll get it over to you. Otherwise, you'll have to wait until the Kickstarter ends and it releases your contact info.

    27. Creator Adam Drew on April 13, 2012

Ordered the annotated edition, because I am a sucker for books with a special features track.

    28. Creator Huey Hesson on April 12, 2012

Also, thanks for letting me know about Banner Saga. I had actually already donated to FTL, Double Fine, and of course, Wasteland 2 before I read your article. INFORMATION!

    29. Creator Huey Hesson on April 12, 2012

Still waiting on another gun show, Brockway. Ill get that photo, one way or another.

    30. Creator Martin Davies on April 12, 2012

So now call me an idiot if you must, but after purchasing the $10 option, how do I get my grubby little hands on the first chapter? Can't wait to get stuck into it, so hurry with your answer to this fool!

    31. Creator Robert Brockway on April 9, 2012

Ossi, the $5 collected edition is an eBook. But there will be a physical collected edition released after everything is finished. I haven't settled on a method yet, but it'll certainly be less than $20 (I haven't seen anything that charges more than that to print and bind a paperback of a mid-size plain text novel).

    32. Creator Ossi Söderholm on April 9, 2012

so the 5$collected edition is ebook or paper one?

    33. Creator Wayne Adams on April 8, 2012

Brockway, thank you for doing this. I loved "Everything is Going to Kill Everybody", and I love your writing on Cracked. I decided to go for the 3 Physical books because I'm not up on this whole E-Reading thingy-ma-jig. Best of Luck Mr. Brockway!

    34. Creator Jonathan Neal on April 5, 2012

I meant first episode but chapter one was also great! Anyhow... my bank account would like words. I just threw down way too much Kickstarter money especially on Banner Saga.

    35. Creator Robert Brockway on April 5, 2012

Oh man! Jonathan! Have I got the best news ever for you! Keep going on the book! There's like thirteen more chapters RIGHT THERE IN THAT FILE!!!

    36. Creator Jonathan Neal on April 5, 2012

Brockway... you magnificent bastard. I read your books! Chapter 1 was intriguing and it was really cool to see some stuff from "Everything is Going to Kill Everybody" played out. Can't wait for Chapters 2 and 3.

    37. Creator Robert Brockway on April 5, 2012

Yep: I'll be sending out the ebooks of 2 and 3 as soon as they come out to anybody who orders them from here. That's the whole point of this thing, after all: It's a pre-order system.

    38. Creator Anthony Silva (deleted) on April 5, 2012

Intriguing idea! Can't wait to read it!!!

    39. Creator Henning on April 5, 2012

I just put down a 10$ pledge - does that mean that I still get parts 2 and 3 when they get released, or will I have to wait until the collected edition is done? Either way - love your writing and hope that this kickstarter will make you disgustingly wealthy!
