I was one of those many disappointed souls hoping for a year round (or at least more than once a year) source for those truly amazing chocolates. After Cocolat closed on Piedmont Ave. all those years ago, and we lost Fairy Queen chocolates in San Francisco, the idea of an independently owned chocolate maker just across the draw bridge (I be in Alameda) is way more exciting than it should be.

This is really great chocolate. If you donate and show your donation at the chocolate booth ( at the Dickens Fair ) they give you a truffle free!
