Risks and challenges
We're so glad you took the time to check out our project. Bringing a musical from the script to the stage is a lengthy and expensive process, but with your help, we're going to make it happen! Challenges arise during any production, but we are confident in our ability to tackle them just as we have done in the past.
Here are some of the questions you might be asking...
Will there be productions delays?
No way! Every person on the production team and most in the cast are seasoned veterans of the theatre with hundreds of performances under their belts. When we have a deadline, we meet it. As the old saying goes, "The show must go on." As long as we meet our minimum funding goal, this musical will be performed on July 21-24, 2016... somewhere.
What if a problem is discovered in the script or music?
The composer/lyricist (Adam Boll) is a member of the production team who will be involved throughout the rehearsal process. He is available to re-write orchestrations and fix musical problems right up until opening night. The book writer (Christopher Mihm) won't be attending all the rehearsals, but he will be available at a moment's notice for re-writes and adjustments as needed.
Everyone on our team, writers, directors, cast, crew, and orchestra, is committed to making this show and crowdfunding campaign a success. We will do everything in our power to get high-quality rewards to you by the deadline.
Please note: When tickets to the show are listed as a reward, they will need to be claimed within the scheduled performance dates in July 2016. If you are unable to claim your ticket, a DVD of the live performance will be provided for you instead (you may need to pay additional shipping charges).Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
