The wonderful world of filmmaking

Hello all,

You may remember us from such updates as 'Nearly done' and 'All apologies'.

First and foremost, we're truly sorry for any aggravation caused and we want to thank you for your patience.

The film was actually completed some months ago and we've submitted it to several film festivals and networks. However, due to the rules and regulations of the film festivals and networks 'viewing' the film - rules that we've only recently discovered - we cannot publicly release the film yet.

A case could be made that this is a bit selfish of us - we hope you understand that as fledgling filmmakers, its in our best interest to maximise all opportunities leading to a greater exposure of the film.

In all honesty we've had very little to update you with other than the fact that we didn't get into Sundance or SXSW.

We are at this moment suffering from acute embarrassment - it will be nearly 2 years since we began this kickstarter project and some of you may be understandably disappointed. Believe us when we say that we've done everything we could do to move this along as quick as possible. Wayne has actually gone bald as a result of this... seriously, his hair fell out.

We sincerely hope you understand and do not lose interest in the project. We cannot wait to show you guys the film and properly release it.

      Thanks guys!

Jza - It really is difficult to say when the film will be released at this point - we are still waiting on notifications from quite a few film fests. As soon as we know, you will. We're very very keen to get this out there.

Robert - You're right. The IMDB page was hastily created when applying to a couple of film fests that required an IMDB account. We've now added the special thanks credits.

      Don't worry, gents. Keep going.
Be nice if you'd put the 'special thanks' credits on IMDB to those who warrant it though. It's part of the pledge you could easily and quickly honour without needing to distribute the film yet.
