Have a question?
Any news anywhere or anitime fron this projet and from Bryan and Simon ?
I just replayed the first game. And it is still great. Thanks Bryan.
P.S.: I don't get why those games aren't on steam or GoG
Hey, Curious how things are going for you. I understand it didn't go as planned and i don't blame you at all. I just want some news regarding this project. Have you abandoned it or are still working on the game/novel?
Any News about the Project?
I am hoping things are getting better for you. I really enjoyed the first thee games, and was looking forward to this next one. Well have a merry Christmas and hope for a very happy New Year. I really hope things get better.
if I did I missed it or forgot.
@Gregory everyone got those back in 2014. Did you not get the email with the download?
So I'm not really expecting a response but I was wondering about some of the rewards. Mainly stuff that's already made, I pledged at a level that gives me the keys for all three previous games. I was wondering if there was any chance of getting those?
Hi everyone! I've been busy so I'm just now playing the 10th anniversary remake, and it looks great! But I ran into a bit of a problem and was wondering if anyone else had a similar issue. When I'm in room 306 and I have to go in the closet, it won't let me go in or look at it. I chose the right word and was able to get the door open, but after that it wouldn't let me do anything else except back out. Has anyone else had this problem, am I doing something wrong, or is it something wrong with the game? Thank in advanced!
thanks for the 10th anniversary version of Midnight Manor, Bryan ^_^
I was always taught that if something is worth having, it is worth waiting for. Thank you for the update.
It's been a while. Do we gave any updates?
Whats the difference between the installer you are releasing tonight for the Curse game and the one that we redeemed through adventure gamers (Delaware St John Volume 1 - The Curse of Midnight Manor Installer.exe)?
Until a friend told me about this campaign, I had never heard of this series.
Now that I'm playing through them, I just have to say I think they're awesome!! Can't wait for the fourth installment!!! So glad I backed this.
OK thanks just got last update from Kickstarter
@Ken, Am right now! :)
@ Bryan: Have you sent out any emails yet for the downloads.
Merry Christmas, everyone on this side of the dateline. ;) I'll say it again in about 11 hours just to be safe ^_^
Carol, old only in the sense of the project having been successfully funded. ;)
@ ericfromabeno, OLD obductees ?
Happy Christmas and New Year everyone.
Yep payment went through
Bryan, that graphic novel you did looks really neat ^_^ How did that go?
payment succeeded ;)
Happy Holidays, Ken! ^_^
@all Happy Holidays
@Bryan Congratulation! we did it well you did it, by making good games.
CONGRATULATIONS! MERRY CHRISTMAS! ^_^
DOH... >_< is that on me?
5 minutes left! ^_^ anyone wanna do the final countdown with me? ^^
yay! new backer! <3
wow, I JUST now had a look at your project history, Bryan! Glad you are finally able to fund this game! Looks like it was a rough road for a while, huh?
10 minutes and counting! ^_^
15 to go!
bryan, you can get a good sense of how well pledge collection will go by looking at backer histories... if the 320 here are all previous kickstarter backers, you've got a near 100% certainty that you can collect their pledges with minimal trouble. ;)
t minus 20 and counting!
true ^^ and hey, we're back up to 320 backers! welcome, Number 320!
I didn't expect to hit any stretch goals. We're all just grateful to finally get the series back up again! I do hope all pledges go through though, the smaller the budget, the more important every $ is!
Bryan, no... the way it seems to work is that in the last day or so, people who wanted to see the game succeed but who don't feel a real connection to it, upon seeing that it will actually get funded, will start to pull out so they can put their money with other kickstarters they want to see succeed... on the premise that they can see the game is going to get funded with or without them... that kind of withdrawing doesn't happen simultaneously at the last minute... So unless you have one huge backer, you should be fine. For you, and for the game, the worst that can happen now is that after funding succeeds, the top donators for some reason cannot be charged... that is the most serious issue now. but even if all three of your "big guns" vanished, you'd still have over 9K of pledge money... so it would probably work out, somehow...
last half hour folks! ^_^
Haha no, but now I've created the story in my head there's a group of backers who all simultaneously pull pledges one minute before the end. I have an overactive imagination...
just tell me you don't have any more multiple $1000's backers. :P
with 33 minutes left to go, it's pretty obvious this is getting funded. I'm just hoping the collection process goes smoothly
heh. Well. at this point there's no nailbiting.... if you were closer to 10K I could understand :p but the nailbiting you have to look forward to now is how many pledges end up uncollectable >_<
After that "slight" drop earlier in the campaign...I'm being optimistically cautious ;)
What no Champain
I'm here for the nail-biting conclusion. I'm even eating popcorn in anticipation!
an extra 4K at this point would require 2/3rds of the current backers to put in 20$ each... 1/3 to put in 40... certainly theoretically doable, if everyone is awake and keeping an eye out, here... anyone else here? just me, Ken, and Bryan?
