UPDATE: We are so thankful to all of the support we have received. We want to share the film with as many people as possible, so please continue to help spread the word and donate if you can. We are ecstatic to have the opportunity to send East of Kensington to a wide assortment of film festivals- we will keep you updated on our journey a long the way. The funds you have contributed will not only help our film into festivals, but as we have raised more than we anticipated, we might have the option to attend festivals that screen the film (something we did not think we could afford). Every donation put into this film will go towards promotion and seeking opportunity. Only great things can come for your support. Calling all Lost Boys and Girls- help us make our mark!
Years after Peter Pan and the Lost Boys have overthrown the pirates, Peter visits London to return Wendy to Neverland when he is kidnapped by a mysterious Stranger who dwells in the dark decaying remains of the Darling house. At its core, East of Kensington investigates the harsh consequence of Peter’s mistakes and uncovers the sinister secrets that survive within the decayed remnants of the Darling house.
East of Kensington is a twenty minute short film that has been over three years in the making. As a thesis production, it served as the culmination of our learning experience at Chapman University through the Dodge College of Film & Media Arts in Orange County, California.
While it was made as a student production, we strove for the highest level of excellence and professionalism in all stages of productions, and recruited a team of Chapman’s most talented students to create the world of Neverland and the Darling House.
In addition, Gary Goetzman, producer and co-founder of Playtone Productions with Tom Hanks, acted as our key industry mentor and helped facilitate the production process. Post-production house, Light Iron (The Amazing Spider-man, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, The Social Network), which designs and implements innovative post-production solutions for many feature films and professional color-correction services to our film, generously color corrected our film.
East of Kensington is truly a story told from the heart. Ambitious in nature, our film combines the spirit and strength of our passionate team with a completely new and unique tale about the boy who never grew up.
Now that the film is complete, we are ready to send it off to film festivals. This is our opportunity to share the film with as many audience members as possible and have the opportunity to gain the exposure with members of the industry.
In order to send East of Kensington to a wide range of festivals, we need to raise the appropriate funds. Film festival fees typically range from $40 - $100 per submission. Your generous donations will help cover film festival costs, shipping fees, duplication fees, and the creation and printing of festival press kits.
We believe that the film festival circuit is a vital step in the life of East of Kensington, and we would love to afford the film as many opportunities as possible. All we need is your help to get us there.

Each box comes with one wing (as pictured). The wing is pinned like a preserved insect to the box with a small Tinkerbell named card featured underneath it. The box is black wood with a glass case.
Straight from the Darling Children's nursery is an ornament statue of Nursery toy blocks used in the production of the film. These vintage toy blocks were scattered in the play area of the children's nursery aside young Michael's rocking horse. Each statue comes complete with 4 blocks varying in color on a wood stained base.
Any and all donations are very much appreciated and will be put to good use. Please help us spread the word of our fundraiser and the film- that's a donation in itself!

The Blurays and DVDs have already been made through two outsourced companies. The turn around time for us to receive the copies was about 2-3 weeks. If we needed to make more, we would alert donors and let them know the expected delivery date based on our manufacture's timeline.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
