First Draft - Finito

Friends. I have 60,000 words over 153 pages of A4 paper that I have written because of you (cue Kelly Clarkson vibes). I can’t believe that I have written the first draft of a book. I feel like I am wearing my insides on my outside but I have done it and I could not have done it without you.

The plan now is to spend September re-drafting and setting then in October send it off to  the printers. Hopefully, it’ll be ready for you guys and probably a very large party in November.

Now, I know you lot have all already pledged for the book, so you don't need to know that pre-ordering is now available BUT perhaps you know someone who might be interested? Maybe you want to pre-order another copy as a gift? MAYBE YOU JUST WANT TWO COPIES. But if you'd like to spread the word that there's this cool book coming out that might be interesting, I'd love for you to share it with your networks.  You can also buy one of Georgia Wilmot's illustrations from the book too - so get your grubby little mitts on one of them too. She's already big in the game, but she's going to be the biggest so it's probably worth your while buying one of her prints now before she's untouchable.

There’s still a bit of a way to go. I need to convince myself that putting something so very, very personal out into the world is the right thing to do. I need to convince myself that y’all won’t think I’m a narcissistic, attention seeking hobag when you read the things I’ve written. But it’ll come in time.

Anyway, I’ve got you guys all to hold me to account so who's excited for LLAM Day in November?
