Hello,
We have a lot of things to share today!

First, the production of the HYDRATION FOAM is complete. Monday morning, we have received a few production samples and everything is fine.

The 2 million hydration paper sheets are currently in production. It won’t take long before all are packed and shipped to our main manufacturer. We have also received a few production samples and tested them, they are great!

Last week, we have received new production samples of the everlasting wet palette: Painter and Studio XL size and the wavy accessory.

Wavy looks so much better than our 3D printed prototype!
Wavy looks so much better than our 3D printed prototype!

As you can see, the overall quality is great

We had however one unexpected issue. In certain conditions, the current opening mechanism can be hard to open and not as user friendly as expected. The TPE seal is a little bit more potent than expected!

So, we have decided, it would be better for the project to improve it. Our producer is already working on the mold accordingly and we should receive one last run. Once validated, we will launch the production.

So when will you receive your Everlasting Wet Palette?

With the mold improvements going on, it will take a few more weeks to finish the production. But we are still on track to start delivering within our 6-month time frame, so you should expect to receive your product in April. We know some expected a delivery in the last days of March, we tried hard to reach it as well. But we decided it’s better to slide deliveries towards the end of our initial time frame and have a better product.

Thank you for your patience!                                    Fabrice & Vivien

As long as the paint won't dry out or spill, I'm good. Can't wait for it. Going to be so handy-dandy to take with me <3

I concur with the below statement regarding a tight seal. Living in the desert climate of SoCal, my paint dries very quickly and having the ability to create a relatively air-tight seal would be fantastic!

I like the idea of a very strong PTFE Seal, please ensure that In the New design that it won’t leak when transporting in a bag, that was one of the main selling points for me, a pallet that will not dry up.

Great work. Nevermind a few weeks more or less, quality first! I'm so excited.

Thanks for the update. I think most of us agree that a slight delay is worth it if we get a better product. The only problem is that April so far away, and I want this now. My old crappy palette is on its last legs. Lol.

Thanks for the update. You guys are doing a great job.

In it for the best product possible. If that means there's a delay, so be it. Those of us who are any wet palette have our mediocre solution to last us til then. I will gladly wait as long as necessary to get a final solution which lasts till the end.

      Thanks for the update
As for the delay, who cares. You taking a little longer to provide a better product just shows how much you care!

Thanks for the update, it's looking great. I know from my own experience that even the simplest of designs can require a few tweaks here and there to get right. Good luck with the production and shipping.

I'm happy to wait a few extra weeks to make sure we get the best product. Great update and thanks for the great quality you are aiming for.

Thank you for the much expected update. I am surprised for some weeks delays, as with ks projects usually they have months or years of delays. Good job :)

It looks really good! Good job.

@ lance Allen The KS campaign ended October 13. Not August.
@ Henno 78i We are not changing the seal, just an adjustment. The Seal is made of TPE and it will really last.

Thanks for the update, this is how a kickstarter campaign should be run, open communication!

Looking forward to getting the finished product.

Awesome! Thanks for this update. In my opinion just take the time and make it right. :)

      Sound like the right choice.

Just a quick question really. If the seal is to strong now, what happens over time with use does the seal become looser ? . So making the seal slightly looser now would that effect it in the long run ?.

While I understand the issue of the seal being “to good” I can’t help but feel annoyed that the wet palette has been delayed. Surely a stronger seal is a good thing?

We were told March and now April. The Kickstarter ended back in what, August/September?

Let’s hope there isn’t any other delays.

Really good update, i'm sure all of us would rather wait a little longer to receive a superior product. Keep up the good work!

Awwwwwww. No end of March birthday present for me. Lol never mind - Happy to wait until you're happiest with your product! Whatever you need to do i'm sure we've all lived long enough without it so can stand to wait a little longer.

    26. Benjamin Jelley on

Looks like a great product. Excited to get it. Must be hard to get the balance between too tight and too loose. Thanks for the attention to detail

    27. Emmerikku on

Thank you for the update. Good to hear you're still working hard. I for one don't mind waiting a little longer if that means a better product.
