Hi there, lovely people longing for delightful frights!

Let’s start with release date info. Quite the popular subject at the moment. We can feel the excitement for Visage in everyone’s comments everywhere our game is mentioned, and we’re really touched by the attention given to us.

Latest info about the release date

In a past update, we’ve mentioned that the release date is back to TBA 2017, with a possibility of releasing in the second quarter, keeping the hopes up. Sadly enough, we have to shatter these expectations and hope for your understanding (which have been great so far). Visage will not be coming in Q2 2017. As many of you know, this is our first game, and Visage is grand and ambitious. It’s hard for us to estimate the time it will take for our small team to complete it.

There’s only one thing we know for sure, not time nor money will prevent us from completing Visage, and it will see the light of day. We just don’t have any official fix on when.

Latest developments

Everything is going greatly. We’ve never gotten things done this fast since we’ve started the project. We have a big bank of sounds, animations, spooky models, 3D environments, and gameplay mechanics now, and we’re really getting the hang of the Unreal Engine. Progress is fast and steady. I’d like to say more, but same as always, we don’t want to spoil anything.

Since we can’t put most of our developments into words, we’ll let you gaze at pieces of it instead, so here are some new screenshots from the game!

      How close are we getting to seeing sneak peeks of any of the "special" tier content? Are we going to see more of the "Become The Ghost" or "Master of Puppets" backers?

      Thanks for keeping us informed! I personally can wait. I would rather play a polished and finished game, rather than a rushed and dull game. Keep it up and don't give up!

      Still delay the date... At least you can post a small gameplay for all the people who supported this game. I can wait until the game will ready, but i only saw too many updates didnt say too much. Please post a video from the game, not pictures.

      I'm not worried about the release date being pushed back either, you are clearly working hard on Visage so it's fine by me. We all want the same thing really, Visage at it's very best, and I wouldn't expect you to release it until you are completely happy with the game.

      I'm not worried at all! I completely understand that you strive for perfection, which is...well, duh? ;) I'd rather enjoy a well-polished masterpiece, than an EA-Games esque poopshow!

      Fuck it, all the updates are "things are going great, we are going to delay it more and we don't want to spoil anything so we are not going to show anything" so I'll just wait until 2018 so I can't get disappointed with the updates, maybe I'll stop reading updates. I know its unfair because I just have to wait and the team is working hard for the fans but I don't want to get overhyped and then get disappointed

      @Joshua, We're really sorry for the backing away from estimated dates. As of now, the only date we'll announcing is TBA 2017 until we have a solid fix on the official release date. Cheers!

      These constant delays are starting to worry me now. I do not want this to turn out just like Mighty Number Nine. I trust you guys will complete it, but you can't keep annoucing dates and backing away from them.

      Otherwise, the screenshots look promising. I think there needs to be a little bit of gameplay to see this stuff actually working.

      Thank you for the update and remember, no pizza explosions... capiche?

      trust me, i'd much rather a game get pushed back and come out in its fully realized vision than come out "on time" and be incomplete and lackluster. thanks for keeping us in the loop!

      Thanks for the update. And as always, don't ever feel pressured to cut corners or put up release dates just for the sake of it. As long as you are making steady progress, you can push it to 2018 for all I care. I just want the game to be great! And you guys are the ones to do just that. :)

      A bit bummed but it's understandable. It is an ambitious project. The fact that there has been progress still makes me glad so keep on keeping on, guys.
