The theatre is booked!
Dear Friends and very dear supporters of this project,
We have booked our performance space! Yeah!!!! It is called
Thespace @ Jury's Inn.
It is very small (seats 40), but it is in the area of "Old Town" where they say reviewers will go,--we hope so!! We had no idea that spaces fill up--for August--by March 18th!!!!
We have also registered with the Edinburgh Festival Fringe--so we will be in their Main Program of events. We now have to get accommodation--which seems to be going fast and furious, and is jacked up by enormous amounts for the Fringe Festival!
We have a publicist who is a huge fan of Dr. Du Bois.....So we are ON!!!!
Our Kickstarter donations have slowed down rather dramatically. Please keep us in mind if you are talking to people who love small theatre, love CIVIL RIGHTS and who would be happy to contribute to a worthy cause and help spread an essential piece of American history. We are very much in need of your continued support! If we do not reach our Kickstarter goal, then they do not give us anything. :-( We very much want to take your wonderful donations!!
Thank you so much. Look forward to sharing more news with you. Hope you are enjoying the Spring-like weather.
Best regards and thanks,
Alexa and Brian
